Product Obsolescence Engineer

• Responsible for product specification and characterisation of rail products

• Responsible for evaluation, selection and re-design of replacement products

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Design, create and review manual and automation test scenarios and test cases with high quality standards;
• Conduct various testing such as integration, regression, performance and sanity testing to ensure that software meets the specified requirements and specifications;
• Responsible for creating detailed documentation on test results into bug tracking system such as JIRA;
• Prioritize issues logs and recommend resolutions;
• Collaborate closely with developers to identify, resolve and debug issues;
• Perform auditing to ensure that testing processes and documents are consistent and of high quality;
• Support SIT and UAT and provide progress report to stakeholders;
• Work closely with business and project managers to understand the project requirements and objectives;

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage Windows-based infrastructure and associated technologies.
• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Hypervisor Nutanix virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Install, configure, and manage Windows servers and services, including IIS, SQL Server, Exchange 2019 and Skype 2019
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support enterprise-wide solutions.
• Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and scripting tasks.
