Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development, testing and distribution of our mobile app for both iOS and Android
• Support full software development lifecycle for new and existing mobile features
• Collaborate with the product and design team to gather the requirements and provide optimal solutions
• Guarantee the seamless integration and deployment through continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), along with various automated and manual testing procedures.
• Document application requirements, design, test, integration, and other related processes

You will be an ideal match if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
• At least 2 years of technical hands-on experience with mobile development
• Developed and delivered multi-platform consumer apps.
• Knowledge about modern mobile development - cross-platform frameworks, microframeworks and reactive interfaces (Experience with Flutter/Dart is an added advantage.)
• Experience with debugging and diagnostic of mobile applications
• Experience working in an ambiguous, low control yet fast paced startup environment is an added advantage

Electronics/electrical/computer Engineer/Technician with at least 3 years of experience with:

1. Operating measurements equipment (DVM, Oscilloscope, etc.), electrical and electronic equipment.
2. Maintenance of electronic systems including the ability to analyze and repair faults.
3. Communication systems, especially RF systems - an advantage.
4. Military testers/systems (in the military service or working for defense companies such as STE) - an advantage.
5. Operation or maintenance of the Air Defense systems - an advantage.

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a global leader in tobacco manufacturing, and we are seeking a Electrical Engineer Manager to join their business permanently! Reporting to the Director, this is an individual contributor role (part of a team) to play a key role in providing technical support to external contract manufacturer to ensure consistent production and quality of small/portable electronic devices. This role will require frequent travel (2-3 times per week) to neighboring countries to work closely with the contract manufacturers on-site.

The Job:

• Provide technical guidance and assistance to external contract manufacturers to resolve electronic engineering-related issues encountered during production.
• Work closely with manufacturers to implement and uphold stringent quality control measures, ensuring consistent and reliable product standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Investigate and address electronic engineering challenges to minimize production delays and defects.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to incorporate design changes that improve product quality and ease of manufacturability.
• Support investment audits in coordination with other departments and conduct periodic physical asset inspections.
• Assist with annual inventory checks.

The Talent:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• At least 5 years in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) with a strong understanding of overall supply chain, manufacturing technology, process set-up, process validation and SOP support.
• Knowledge of electrical device assembly is a must.
