RESPONSIBILITY

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the implementation, operation and maintenance of application infrastructure services that meet application requirements and business needs, and is aligned to Government’s policies, standards and procedures.

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will get to:

• Engage stakeholders to translate business requirement into application infrastructure design and services to meet the intended availability, capacity, resiliency, security and continuity requirements;

• Forecast budget needed to support the project initiatives and maintenance contracts;

• Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy and configure IT application infrastructure projects to meet confidentiality, availability and data integrity needs;

• Ensure Agency’s Technical Architecture and application infrastructure are in compliance with IM8 and Agency’s IT Policies and Standards; • Manage day-to-day delivery and support of application infrastructure services; and

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Degree or Diploma in IT, computer or related disciplines

• Minimum 3 years of working experience for Engineer

• Hands-on experience in at least 1 full project development life cycles for Engineer and 3 full project development life cycles for Senior Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cybersecurity or security engineering, with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
