Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or any related disciplines.
• 3-5 years experience in a system integration maintenance role
• Strong knowledge and practical hands-on experience in engineering concepts, including electrical, mechanical and enterprise systems setup
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Experience in working maintenance operations, especially ITIL standard
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members and customers
• Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning and decision-making
• Familiar with Singapore Government project’s operational support will be an added advantage

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Reporting to the RF Manager
• To support radio network planning & optimization projects and ensure project milestone are met on time.
• Familiar and experience with mobile network rollout tasks.
• Perform site selection, site survey, antenna tuning & verification and acceptance testing.
• Perform post processing and analysis of drive test and walk test logfiles.
• Perform RF optimization for 4G/5G sites and performance monitoring.
• Capable to solve RF related problems, troubleshoot and identify root cause for performance issues (weak coverage, capacity congestion, pilot pollution, interference, overshooting and etc).
• Be responsible on good network performance for customer.
• As technical point of contact with project stakeholders, vendors and customer.
• Attend internal and external meetings with various levels i.e project managers, RF managers, vendors, contractors etc.

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

• Tertiary education qualification majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics or related area
• Minimum 3 years of RF planning & optimization experience in LTE mobile network deployment.
• Excellent in the fundamentals of radio access technologies and antenna systems.
• Experience in multi-vendor wireless equipment operation and network optimization.
• Strong skill set in various RF planning and testing tools such as Atoll, Nemo Handy, Nemo Analyze, Google Earth, MapInfo Professional etc.
• Literate in computer application skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
• Dedicated team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work well with cross cultural teams.

Job description

Your primary task will be to inspect and assess the condition of cargo (including pre/post loading, damage assessment), inspect merchant vessels and other operating maritime assets to assess/quantify damage/losses).

Qualifications and skills

• At least 3 years of experience in ship or cargo survey (inspection)/hull survey, we prefer a certified ship/ cargo surveyor and/or relevant training certificate
• Proficiency in English commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, hull and P&I damage handling.
• preferably certificates for marine casualty investigation or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of commercial shipping practises such as ISM/ISPS/MLC code, ship audit etc.
• Knowledge of marine insurance terms and conditions such as ITC clause, etc.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a professional specialist for the organisation in the application of relevant rules, regulations, requirements, concepts, principles and processes;
• Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys carried out;
• Maintains organised and up-to-date survey files in his/her area of responsibility;
• Actively keeps abreast of new work methods and developments affecting the technical area of assigned area of responsibility and makes recommendations for changes in survey processes and safety programmes when warranted by these developments;
• Recommends new solutions to problems encountered and makes changes to work methods and procedures as required;

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Preferably hold the COC (Certificate of Competency) of a Merchant Ship Officer as 2/O (2nd Officer) or 2/E (2nd Engineer) or higher.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Recognised degree in Engineering or related discipline;
• Relevant project management or project experience in the area of Automatic Fare Collection system in Singapore transit environment will be a plus;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office for Windows;
• Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work independently;
• Ability to work and collaborate with team;
• Able to cope with flexible working hour;
• Be expected to perform night works during engineering hours;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Manage the document review process, including collating comments from all reviewing parties and ensuring proper follow-up to the review comments;
• Manage and coordinate the design, installation, testing and commissioning activity, including coordination with all stakeholders (contractors, site owners, end users);
