• At least 3 years of shore experience in ship’s machinery /hull/cargo damage survey, or as vessel technical managers, or safety manager, we prefer a certified ( or experienced) ship/ cargo surveyor and/or relevant training certificate.
• Proficiency in English commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, hull and P&I damage handling.
• preferably certificates for marine casualty investigation or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of commercial shipping practises such as ISM/ISPS/MLC code, ship safety inspections/audit etc.
• Required to travel to ship/working site at short notice, even during weekend /holidays
• Knowledge of marine insurance terms and conditions such as ITC clause etc. will be a plus.

• Preparing detailed reports documenting survey findings, including recommendations for repairs or improvements.

• Must sailed onboard and hold merchant ship 2nd engineer COC (or above) before.
