Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Travel to customer site to complete a variety of assignments, including but not limited to, commissioning of new equipment, providing warranty troubleshooting and repair support, training customers on operation and/or maintenance of the products, and execution of paid service work to repair or upgrade a customer’s unit in the field.

In addition, seek out, identify, and effectively communicate information regarding competitive products and services.
• Attend meetings as Company representative to address technical issues, progress schedules and site related issues within the scope of work.
• Identify and track parts required for installation or warranty, coordinate on site activities, communicate technical support and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Support the Account Manager with new equipment sales opportunities. Work collaboratively with the Sales team to provide useful resources and specific information on competitors’ equipment in supporting the sales effort.
• Provide customers with estimations on repairs, training, or customer care solutions. Understand and manage field installation budget, on assigned projects, while utilizing cost effective measures to manage daily project activities and to resolve outstanding issues.
• Timely and thorough completion of job documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, service order trip reports, product registration forms, equipment checklists, unit defects identification, credit card expense reconciliation, e-mail communications to internal or external customers, and customer feedback surveys.
• Development and documentation of service-related processes, including but not limited to product repair procedures, work aid documents, departmental procedures, and customer communication forms.
• Work collaboratively with the team of Field Service Engineers to share knowledge and resolve problems.
• Provide liaison support of the regional service offices, including communication with engineering, vendors, and/or other field service representatives to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.

• Ability to work with manufacturing on how to better processes for equipment as it arrives to customer locations, i.e., quality improvements.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of technical experience in the GSE industry or similar.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a mechanical field or business education is a plus.

Job Summary

Fugro Satellite Positioning has an immediate opening in the Singapore office for a Network Engineer. This position, as part of a global team, is responsible for implementing and managing a reliable and secure Fugro Data Network in support of real-time Global Navigation Satellite System services.

This will involve hardware and software configuration, monitoring and proactively supporting the daily operation of our Fugro Data Network, including Network Control Center (NCC), Remote sites and Satellite uplink sites.

This role works with the Singapore Network Control Centre personnel and in close collaboration with the USA Network Control Center and additional Fugro Satellite Positioning operational and development personnel worldwide in support of our Global infrastructure.

About the Role:

• Configure and update local/remote routers, install, configure and update software, security patches, licensing and virus scanners on local and remote systems
• Install and reconfigure NCC cabling and hardware and support remote site hardware installation and reconfiguration.
• Monitor Network performance and address issues as appropriate to maintain security and operational capability
• Coordinate planned downtime with Network Operations Manager and/or Operational staff to minimise customer impact
• Determine cause for whole or partial system and/or network downtime and implement solutions to improve availability
• Participate in an after-hours support roster for NCC operations

Key Contacts (Internal):

Work with the Network Operations Manager and / or technical staff to design and implement a data handling infrastructure incorporating reference stations, Network Control Centres, disaster recovery sites and uplinks appropriate to the current and future needs of the Fugro Data Network.

Summary

The Team Lead will be responsible to the Head of Learning & Development for all coordination and conduct of functional training programs, management of standards and procedures for operations in his/her assigned business unit. Key Job Accountabilities:

· Liaison with customer reps on documentation procedures including certification and maintenance release.

· Ensure all aircraft have valid documents such as Certificate of Registration, Certificate Of Airworthiness, Radio License, Insurance Certificate, etc as applicable.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License (AMEL) issued by the civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) or a foreign equivalent license recognized by CAAS or an FAA A&P certificate or professional licenses relating to aviation.
• Minimum five years working experience in aviation industry.
• Shall possess Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
• Conversant with Airworthiness requirements and / or Quality Management System (AS9110).
