Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data and business intelligence team within the department

• Establish data engineering competency framework and best practices for the department

• Build up the projects pipeline for the data and BI team

• Mentor junior data engineers on enterprise data engineering best practices

• Contribute to the design and integration of data management & data governance capabilities for a data analytics platform product built by the product team within the department

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of big data, machine learning and Kubernetes clusters

• Participate in data engineering projects as technical lead and work with other stakeholders - Data Scientists, Data Analysts, etc. to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data pipeline infrastructure and data preparation needs Job

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or related field

• The candidate should have at least 8 years of technical experience in Information Technology with preferably 6 years in Big Data, Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence technology with knowledge of analytics and AI technologies

• Broad knowledge of various aspects of Big Data with good understanding and hands-on experience in Hadoop based technologies such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, Kafka etc.

• Deep understanding of relational, NoSQL, NewSQL database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, CitusDB, SingleStore, Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J etc.

• Good knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Scala on Linux/Windows platforms

• Experienced in Kubernetes and Kubeflow is a plus point

• Familiar with visualization and reporting software.

• Experienced in designing production grade ETL/BI solutions.

• Experienced in DevOps and DataOps

• Familiar with Linux/UNIX system administration

• Experienced in operational support for Big Data solutions

• Effective oral and written communication with strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking and project management skills are essential on the job

• Work closely with Process/Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve the process capability.
• Ensure the scrap, production yield and cycle time reduction targets are met.
• Review process issues, NCR and conduct failure analysis.
• Updating of Manufacturing work instructions/routers.
• Participate in cross-functional teams on various improvement projects.
• Conduct Evaluations/Special Build Request.
• Support QA for failure analysis and identification of corrective action for customer returns and internal CAR’s.

Requirements

• Nitec in engineering & above
• Minimum of 2 years experience in process environment

1. Design and develop test systems for characterising and validating silicon photonic components, including modulators, detectors, and waveguides.
2. Implement automated testing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the evaluation of silicon photonics devices.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of test solutions into the overall product development lifecycle.
4. Identify and resolve issues in the testing process, collaborating with other engineers to improve overall product quality.
5. Create detailed documentation for test procedures, methodologies, and results to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
6. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in silicon photonics testing technologies, bringing innovative ideas to improve our testing capabilities.
7. Establish and enforce quality assurance measures to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of test results.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, photonics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in silicon photonics test development with a focus on automated testing systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW for test automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in the testing process.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

· Conduct research & development to build new cyber security technologies

· Develop proof-of-concepts and use-case demonstrations of research outcome

· Prepare research proposals for grant applications to secure research funding

Requirement:

· Candidates with a PhD, Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely-related areas

· Prior experience in securing research grants with a good track record of peer-reviewed publications

· Prior R&D experience in the areas of post quantum cryptography, IoT/IIoT security, hardware security, mobile device security, vulnerability & threat research, deep learning, adversarial AI or explainable AI

· Strong programming and analytical skills

· Strong written and communication skills
