Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of plant equipment, building utilities, labs, DI station, and WWTP.
• Perform hands-on repair work on various equipment, including centrifugal, lobe, and air diaphragm pumps, tank control systems with agitators, and drum filling machines.
• Manage mechanical and electrical control panel tasks.
• Handle maintenance work orders within the SAP system.
• Preferably experienced in performing preventive maintenance on plant static and rotating equipment, as well as corrective maintenance and modification work.
• Contribute improvement ideas and support SQCDP and 5S initiatives.
• Supervise contractors for repair and project work, ensuring standards are met.

• At least NITEC in Electrical/ Mechatronic/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of related working experience in electrical wiring troubleshooting and mechanical repairs in a chemical plant.

An IoT Field Service Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting IoT devices such as Facial Recognition (FR), smart cameras, sensors, network devices, industrial IoT sensors and equipment. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with both hardware and software components of IoT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Installation and Setup:

· Install and configure IoT devices, sensors, and networks according to stakeholder requirements.

· Perform system integrations, ensuring that devices is able to communicate with the yard central system.

· Ensure network connectivity ie routers, Access Points, wi-fi is properly established for IoT systems.

2) Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

· Diagnose and resolve issues with IoT devices, networks, or platforms, both remotely and on-site.

· Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of IoT devices and systems to ensure optimal performance.

· Perform firmware and software updates on devices as needed.

· Address and resolve connectivity issues, sensor malfunctions, and data reporting errors.

3) Customer Support:

· Provide technical support and training to stakeholder on how to use and maintain their IoT devices.

· Address stakeholder inquiries and concerns, either on-site or remotely, ensuring satisfaction and efficient problem resolution.

· Assist with the integration of IoT systems into existing infrastructure and applications eg digital twin platform

4) Documentation:

· Maintain good records of all service activities, including installations, configurations, maintenance, and stakeholder interactions.

· Provide reports on system performance, usage patterns, and any potential improvements.

Duties:

• Responsible in guiding the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and substitute of mechanical or piping equipment within the Gas Engine Generators as well as its additional systems such as gas engine, pipeline, pressure pipe, ACMVs, lube oil and coolant pumps arrangement.
• Responsible in supporting mechanical support and solutions for the process & care and providing the development of care strategy including procedure/specification focusing on equipment dependability, spares inventory necessity, shutdown and inspection lists, preventive and prophetic care programmed.
• Responsible in managing and work meticulously with internal contractor and equipment seller to perform maintenance work at the Gas Engine Generators Building and terminal.
• Responsible to make certain compliance to appropriate regulations, manipulate safely, fit for object, maintainable and trustworthy for the site’s modified or anew build mechanical setup (such as gas engine, pumps, gravity vessel, safety facilities, etc).
• Responsible in guiding technical negotiations, execute and succeed project schedules or cost as well as collaboration with outward and internal shareholders, merchants for end of life and development project using company Management of Change process for machinery facilities.
• Responsible in supplying technical practicing as required in the area of process, maintenance, fault resolution of the Gas Engine Generators.
• Responsible in contacting with exterior investor including administration agencies on approbation and risk of closure of electrical arrangement that will influence gas-send out.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Min 3 to 5 years’ experience in relevant industry for maintenance of rotary and staticequipment is needed
• Prior experience in different types of gas/diesel machine knowledges is a bonus.
