This position is responsible for assisting in the smooth operation of the restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in daily service operations which include the taking of orders, table setting, billing and etc

1. Menu knowledge: Be up to date with current menu.
2. Customer Service: Handle customer questions and issues.
3. Inventory: Keep track of supplies and order as needed.
4. Operations: Ensure the cafe is clean and running smoothly.
5. Hygiene: To ensure personal hygiene is taken cared for.
6. Sales: Promote specials and boost sales.
7. Training: Support and develop staff skills.

• Offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service
• Assist in monitoring the guests’ needs, check and coordinate special requests such as special menu requirements, cake or flower orders, tables’ requests, and promotional offers
• Allocate and check the table arrangement both prior and during service, ensuring special requests are met wherever possible
• Check on guests’ satisfaction, attend guests’ needs and comments with proper follow up with Manager
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
