Your responsibilities

• Perform the electrical design, simulation and analysis of power electronics circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements. The main focus will be on DC-DC power converters.

Work closely with Operations Manager on Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, assist Property Committee in evaluating and awarding contracts, and follow through with contracts awarded (including but not limited to: conducting technical briefs, monitoring sub-contractors to ensure timely and proper execution, Workplace Safety and Health).
4. Maintain equipment loans and their status and maintain schedule for servicing and repairs.
5. Liaise with cleaning contractor, initiate discussions on cleaning schedules and cleaners’ performance, and conduct joint inspections.
6. Keep sufficient supply of washroom products (including but not limited to: toilet rolls, paper towels, tissue boxes, hand soap and sanitisers).
7. Be familiar with locations of electrical distribution boards, plumbing valves and stop valves.
8. Be familiar with the alarm system and CCTV system, and assist in disarming BMC Sanctuary as well as opening rooms for church events.
9. Be familiar with fire alarm panels and work with Fire Safety Manager to comply with SCDF requirements.
10. Periodically inspect BMC premises to eliminate potential breeding spots and liaise with National Environment Agency (NEA) during ground inspections.
11. Monitor and supervise gardening contractor and gardening works.
12. Respond promptly to and report emergency breakdown and calls for assistance.

REQUIREMENTS

1. A relevant Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) diploma, or qualifications in building maintenance, with at least three years of proven experience in facility maintenance work.
2. Able to do minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
3. Responsible, honest, reliable, and hardworking.
4. Conscientious in achieving good housekeeping, with a systematic approach for a clean and organized workplace to enhance productivity.
5. A team player with the ability to work independently.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with church leaders and members, Bedok Methodist Preschool (BMP) staff, and visitors.
7. Basic Microsoft Office skills.
8. Able to commence work immediately or within short notice.

A Day in the Life

• Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects (preferably with contacts of Architectural & Interior Design firms)

JOB PURPOSE

The Customer Service Specialist is focused primarily on ensuring that all sales support and service activities are well-coordinated and completed within prescribed process guidelines in support of the sale branches. The role includes embarking on program initiatives targeted at meeting the demands / requirements of our customers, thus satisfying their needs.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Effective day to day customer service operation to support the pre and post shipment requirements of the sales branches.
• Customer backlog management with aim of maintaining backlog integrity through systematically reviewing and addressing all backlog issues encountered on a daily basis.
• Customer Service Specialist will be allocated into a specialist team and rotate through the specialist function as deemed necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Weekly management of the Customer backorder report with a turnaround time of 48 – 72 hours for a complete review.
• Work and assist the Sales team in managing their Customer pre & post shipment.
• Support and drive the requirements generated by Customer Bond Constraint Report related to fulfillment of bonded parts in their BIM program.(If applicable)
• Escalate all their issues or challenges in fulfilling their assigned task to management in the most appropriate timeline to seek guidance on resolution.
