Job Description:

• Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
• Provides product, service, technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales schedule.
• Prepares costing plans and related customer documents by consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
• Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
• Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure standard sales procedure are followed.
• Timely submission of sales related document.
• Ensure Sales Account development.
• Develop strategies to keep, find and close opportunities.
• Adhere to company’s guidelines and policies

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (any disciplines)
• Proven track record to build relationships, influence customers at all levels • Good team player with ability to work independently and under pressure

Summary

Provides customized service solutions according to the specific service needs of customers and achieve continuous business growth. Manages the growing asset management service needs of laboratories in various industries, such as overall relocation, maintenance and compliance verification, and other professional service needs. Manages the planning, hardware installation and configuration, optimization, operations, and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. Oversees systems performance, the monitoring of equipment and the management of vendor relationships. Responsible for capacity planning and continual assessments for process improvement to ensure that processes are well-documented, sustainable and scalable. Monitors ongoing practices to ensure consistency with policies, compliance regulations and control requirements. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Key accountabilities

• Understand market dynamics, actively explore the market, and achieve company sales targets.
• Familiar with the company and competitive product knowledge, introduce Enterprise service projects to customers.
• Understand and master the market conditions of the responsible sales area and analyze and control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with specialization in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years and above of sales experience in chemistry/pharmaceutical/biological laboratory support industry.
• Good inter-personal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Team player with assertive and result oriented personality with drive and high energy.
• Customer service oriented.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft office
• Strong and confident decision-maker who is capable and has the experience to make tough decision when required for a sales and service organization.
• Capable of building a strong link between the company and awareness of needs of customers.
• Familiar with the project bidding and procurement process.

On behalf of the hiring company, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as a Testing Engineer :

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house Testers for lift testing and commissioning of the new installation projects at private commercial, public, and other projects and need assistance with lift modernization if required
• Manage and ensure that the lift adjustment, testing, and commissioning are safe during activities
• Manage on-site and monitor the testing process according to instructions and schedule
• Report Testing progress to the Department Head/ Manager
• Manage and ensure safe, high-quality, and timely testing of the equipment throughout the testing process
• Prepare lift adjustment training material and provide testing training for the in­house testers' skill improvement
• Provide supervision to testers and support technical to troubleshoot testing problems if it is necessary
• Responsible for all the arrangements with 3rd parties such as inspections, Client inspections related to lift testing
• Responsible for the annual calibration test of testing tools and equipment
• Responsible for the internal/ external audit inspection such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 ISO 45001, and related systems, etc, and also updating the documents if required
• Assist in project management if required
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Department Head/ Manager

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Team lead/supervisory experience
• This role will be working at assigned construction sites
• Proficient in MS Office
• Able to communicate with internal stakeholders and clients
• Experience in Lift testing is highly advantageous
