Maritime navigation system.

• Assist in Radio survey of GMDSS equipment. Installation/troubleshooting/servicing in Marine navigation systems such as Marine Radar, Gyro compass, Magnetic compass, autopilot, echo sounder, speed log, steering – FFU/NFU, weather fax, wind speed/direction etc

Marine Telecommunication Systems

• Installation/troubleshooting/servicing in communication systems such as GMDSS, VHF/UHF, MF/HF SSB, NBDP, NDB, Navtex, Inmarsat, FBB, Local Area networks, email system etc.
• Off-landed repair of faulty equipment in the workshop
• Prepare the service reports after completion of jobs

Requirements

• Formal education in Electrical and/or Electronic equipment.
• Should have GOC for carrying out Radio Survey and should have makers training and aproval for Marine Communication Equipment..
• Trained in Good communication and writing skills, interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and an aptitude for detail
• Good team player who is able to work with other team members
• Have an analytical and open mind, and be self-driven

Duties:

• Lead and supervise electrical technicians and contractors in system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Develop and conduct on-the-job training programs for E&I team members.
• Perform site inspections and quality control for electrical work.
• Review and approve electrical isolation, excavation, and related permits.
• Investigate electrical maintenance issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure equipment reliability through effective maintenance programs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Minimum 8 to 12 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry or any relevant industry.
