Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to manage a team of support engineers (both local and offshore) for System Maintenance to support Govt Project.

Office at AMK.

CAT 2 Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance & System Activities:

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are performed promptly in good quality
• Providing support to Customers for any System security review and audit activities
• Review and refine SOPs in place in incident Management:
• Ensure 24/7 Service Level Agreement (SLA) is met as the system is a mission-critical Ops system
• Maintaining a log of all support cases, the time to resolve them, and the solutions. For problems that require third-party contractors for troubleshooting and rectification, Project Manager shall follow through with the third-party contractors.
• Provide Incident Reports with root cause analysis and resolution details.

Change Request:

• Manage Change Requests and implementation of Change Request. Note that urgent CRs may need to be assessed and communicated with customers with a short turnaround time.

Project Management:

• Provide monthly reports on time and conduct regular meetings with customers for updates

Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science or IT-related disciplines.
• Minimally 3-5 Year of experience as an IT System Maintenance Manager.
• Preferably with experience managing large-scale IT enterprise projects (>15M$).
• Possess good analytical skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels. Ability to write and present to customers at all levels

Job Summary

The role is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facilities. The primary objective of the Maintenance Technician is to minimize downtime, maintain operational efficiency, and contribute to a safe working environment.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance:

a) To perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and able to repair basic equipment including mechanical and electrical systems.

b) Diagnose basic to intermediate troubleshoot problems and implement appropriate solutions to restore equipment functionality.

c) Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.

d) Perform preventive maintenance work assigned.

2. Facility Upkeep:

a) Conduct regular inspections of the facility, safety hazards, and cleanliness concerns.

b) Coordinate and perform basic to intermediate repairs and adjustments to maintain a safe and well-maintained working environment.

c) Minimize downtime due to equipment breakdown.

3. Safety and Compliance:

a) Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks to ensure the safety of oneself and others.

b) Collaborate with relevant departments to address safety and compliance concerns promptly.

4. Equipment Installation and Calibration:

a) Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment, machinery, or systems.

b) Support basic to intermediate process modification and project.

5. Inventory Management:

a) Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for routine maintenance and repairs.

b) Works with Maintenance inventory and facility team to order and restock supplies as needed to minimize downtime.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

a) Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address complex maintenance issues and projects.

b) Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and management regarding maintenance status, updates, and recommendations.

7. Training and Development:

a) To provide basic training to new and unskilled technician

Job Requirements:

• Minimum O level or equivalent; diploma/certificate or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role that strong in electrical

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools , experience in pump / gear box or motor repair will be at advantage

• Ability to diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities and proactive work attitude

• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

• Flexibility to work on-call or during off-hours, if necessary

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint, add advantage if familiar with CMMS

Provides reactive planning for PM, CM activities i.e., developing efficient work plans (tasks, sequences, parts/materials, craft/manpower and resources) for PM/corrective maintenance plans and carry out schedule review of 30/90 days and issue soft week and hard week schedules, maintain effective loading and utilization of craft, coordinates maintenance work related activities for the equipment’s in plant.

Accountabilities:

• Compliance to HSE standards and requirements of Cariflex and accountable for all assigned activities.
• Able to support the project in pre-com and commissioning activities such as verifying site check and witness commissioning activities.
• Generate spare parts list for the equipment’s and work with Cariflex Reliability for critical spares, IT team to transfer the list into BOM list, ensure physical qty and SAP qty are in account. Drive and lead the spare parts management process with contractor resources.
• Knowledge of using symphony tool in SAP for scheduling maintenance activities.
• Creating the task number group id for the PM/CM maintenance activity.
• Drive high standard of personal accountability & performance to deliver the Site & Department goals and target.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure the work task to be planned, scheduled, and performed.
• Coordinate and engage Operations/ Gate keeper to ensure all job request are clear and concise and maintenance work orders are prioritized and challenged.
• Carry out site checks & planning of work orders end to end process, by breaking down all relevant maintenance activities into logical tasks with resources, parts/material, craft/manpower and sequences for optimal work execution. Tasking of planned work orders to the relevant engineers/contractors for execution.
• Responsible for material procurement and availability prior to execution of all PM/CM works.
• Create and maintain library of plans for HSSE, corrective maintenance activities. Ensure that library plans contain reasonably accurate information on cost, materials, services labour, and other resource requirements. Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that preventive/corrective maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
• Initiate HSE plans/Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for the planned work orders to ensure safe execution of work.
• Ensure PM/CM plans are scheduled accordingly and executed before their due dates.
• Accountable to ensure no overdue of all PM/CM works. This will include the necessary materials and services (resource) procurement and availability.
• Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that preventive maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
• Assist in budget planning based on past years cost trending. Plan, track, and cost accuracy, and provide inputs to improve contract strategy.
• Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements. Provide feedback on effectiveness of corrective maintenance.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in compliance with the global maintenance and business processes.

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5-10 years relevant field experience as plant engineer or equivalent. Preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
• Relevant knowledge in: HSE Performance Management, Risk Management, Plant Operations, Reliability & Integrity, Process Technology, MOC Management, Cost/Budget, and RCA
