• · Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
• · Ensure that in the terminal relating to installation, either offshore or vessel or onshore production terminals are maintained and performed at optimum functionality.
• Execute tasks / activities, standard maintenance and repair work such as Preventive, Corrective maintenance project executions at site effectively & efficiently
• Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with all maintenance work procedures / OEM manuals / Company standards to ensure site quality, asset integrity and operability
• Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with all Local Statutory and Safety processes to achieve good safety records / results
• Report any problems or issues with site facilities
• Process Permit-to-Work, Job safety Analysis (JSA), Lock-out, Tag-out (LOTO) or execute the Defeat of Safety Critical Equipment (DOSCE) during associate maintenance activities
• Participate and contribute in maintenance documentation review such as Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Job safety Analysis (JSA) and What-If Analysis
• Maintain work progress status and report to Supervisors on daily or adhoc basis
• Perform Work Executor in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflow to receive, update and close up assigned Work Orders and checklist
• Support Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring that contractors or third party vendors execute maintenance tasks / activities at site effectively and efficiently
• · Ensure that contractors carry out tasks/activities that adhered to safety, health and environment regulations and Company standards
• Mentor, guide technicians, junior technician in maintenance activities and job competency
• Help out in the supervision of Capex project execution

Job Description:

• Responsible for the maintenance activities work task as direct instruction by the Mechanical Supervisor or Engineer (Maintenance) to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
• Hands-on experience in servicing of rotating equipment like various types of pumps, chain and belt conveyors, mixers, blowers, agitators, fans and rotary valves.
• Good knowledge in Laser alignment and independently able to do.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of pump failures.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical seal assembly.
• Able to read and understand the P&ID.
• Timely close all work orders assigned by supervisor in CMMS.
• Ensures quality of work within the set time frame.
• Ensure to maintain adequate use of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
• Follow job method of statement and risk assessment to perform the job task.
• Attend daily tool box meetings.
• Always follow and make sure plant safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in monthly safety committee meetings.
• Conduct routine 5S at maintenance workshop, store, substations and work area at site.
• Reporting to the mechanical supervisor on daily work activity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of previous experience of working in static and rotating equipment in Chemical
• Process or Treatment Plant Industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
