Position title : Maintenance Engineer

Location: Tuas
Working Days: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
Working hours : 7:30am to 5:15pm
Salary Range: $3k - 4k

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor the machines and company equipments operational performance and condition
• Conduct preventive maintenance to machine and company equipments as per schedule
• Review and update all existing machine maintenance documents
• Prepare and design the spare parts for machines and company equipments
• Report any unsafe conditions and practices to Production Manager
• Assist of production and purchasing department of manufacturing / purchasing spare parts
• Monitor spare parts stock level and raising purchase order
• Managing, delegating and training the maintenance group
• Involve in the implementation and continuous maintenance of HSE Management System
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Manager

Accountable

• Meeting department quality objectives
• Ensure maximized machine uptime
• Ensure planned preventive maintenance is carried out effectively to minimize machine down time
• Ensure sustainable continuous improvement initiatives are carried out on machine, equipment and facilities

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support and build relationships with customers during field visits.
• Manage on-site installation, repairs, maintenance and diagnose errors and technical problems and finding solutions for the installed equipment.
• Produce service reports.
• To be an active team player.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in field servicing.
• Experience preferably in the repair and servicing of refrigeration systems and compressed air related equipment.
• Being familiar with hands-on installation and removal of valve and pipe fittings is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test repair and service equipment.
• English literacy.
• Minimum qualification professional certificate (NiTEC) / technical diploma in mechanical / electrical / mechatronic engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning / Assign sub-contractors and manpower for the maintenance work and from project handover
• Supervising & Managing of Sub-contractor to carry maintenance & servicing works
• Plan and schedule Preventive Maintenance
• Perform routine check, system back-ups & restoration, troubleshooting and upgrading / improvement of system to ensure optimal functioning of BMS/DCS/PLC/SCADA System
• Record servicing & maintenance data and generate service report
• Provide Technical / Operational guidance, engineering solution to the Maintenance Site Facility Management
• Others ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge on BMS / PLC / HVAC will be a plus point
• Training provided for those without/lesser experience

About the team

Our team is responsible for developing state-of-the-art NLP/ML algorithms and strategies to improve user consumption experience, inspire merchants' service quality and revenue, and build a fair and flourishing ecosystem on our E-commerce Platform. More specifically, our team is responsible for the algorithms of Intelligent Customer Service and machine translation under TikTok's global e-commerce business.

What you will do:

- Participate in the development of AI customer service within the TikTok e-commerce ecosystem to help our sellers better serve our customers.

- Responsible for the language quality of the TikTok shopping platform, including improving machine translation quality of product information, IM of buyers and sellers, and supporting scenario of cross-lingual searching.

- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and the product strategy & operation team to define product strategies and features.

Responsibilities:

1. Build an intelligent dialogue system, including mining questions and answers.

2. Language understanding, including intention recognition, emotion recognition, FAQ, etc.

3. Develop multilingual text generation such as products' copy, dialogue summary, email reply, etc.

4. Construct knowledge graphs of buyers and products.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• Working experience in one of the following fields: machine learning, NLP, and computer vision

• Experience with software development in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Python, Go, Java

• Good sense of teamwork and communication skills, practical experience in relevant business scenarios is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proficient in using at least one mainstream deep learning framework such as TensorFlow/PyTorch, understanding distributed training, distillation acceleration, and other implementation methods.

- Experience in text classification, text matching, sequence labeling, knowledge graph.

- Aware of certain processing methods and optimization experience on domain adaptation, small sample construction, text mining, unsupervised/semi-supervised, and other similar issues.

- Familiar with commonly used machine learning and deep learning algorithms, understand basic network model structure (DNN/LSTM/CNN, etc.) and text representation methods (LDA/Word2Vec/ELMo/GPT/BERT, etc.), have practical experience in deep learning training and reasoning model tuning.

- Experience in large-scale text data processing or cleaning (Such as using Hadoop/Spark/Hive/Flink).
