Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder in Facilities Management, Building Services or related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in building & facilities management and is 'hands on' to ensure planning to execution success in building & facility initiatives undertaken including for clientele base

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee operational processes of all Company facility areas assigned, including maintenance, safety and cleanliness
• Work within budgetary and compliance parameters to ensure upkeep of building facilities
• Ensure legal compliance where needed
• Work closely and liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to implement cost-effective, simpler, and faster ways of carrying out facility upkeep, development and maintenance

• Manage and update online systems
• Initiate B&F activities for workers’ dormitories to ensure compliance with regulations and Company facilities' policies
• Initiate value added services to clients in renting of facilities/storage spaces etc and generate some income for the department
• Assume any other facilities-related duties assigned by the management

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources.
• Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management.
• Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives viz predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure.
• Plan and review the budget for the Cost Centers assigned to them
• Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walkdowns, implement safety initiatives, and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all stakeholders in the maintenance work.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution
• Ensure that maintenance works, and plant equipment comply with Statutory Requirements.
• Assist in maintenance related projects to improve workflow and maintenance processes
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Power Plant environment or oil & gas industry.
