What You’ll Do

• Plan, coordinate, and manage cloud migration projects from on-premises to AWS, ensuring that project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business requirements.
• Work closely with solution architects, cloud architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to execute the migration strategy.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Manage the development and execution of migration roadmaps, including application, database, and data migration.
• Lead project teams in the identification of dependencies, bottlenecks, and resource needs to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with AWS cloud security standards, policies, and best practices.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor post-migration performance and ensure operational stability and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure.

What Will Make You Shine

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably experience in GCC migration.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and security best practices.
• Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure migration projects, particularly from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience with cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) will be an added advantage.
