The Senior Cost Accountant collaborates with business units to manage inventory, manufacturing costs, product profitability and cost accounting processes. The role is also responsible for financial planning and analysis activities, support business units in budgeting and forecasting exercises and analyze financial data to facilitate business decisions. Job Responsibilities

Cost Accounting and Inventory Management

• Responsible for accurate processing of month end journals (COGS and inventory related), perform accounts reconciliation, maintain and reconcile inventory ledgers, perform cost variances analysis and accruals including excess and obsolete (E&O) reserve analysis.
• Assist with preparation of month-end and quarter-end management reports (eg flux analysis).
