1. Hire, lead, develop and manage members in the team. Monitoring performance of members and develop and maintain relevant skills. Responsible for mobility and payroll budget. Drive, lead and motivate HR/Payroll Country to deliver C&B tasks to contribute to and ensure the Regional C&B objectives.
2. Develop, implement, support and manage policies, guidelines and country/regional standards for area of expertise e.g. performance management, salary adjustments and bonus and related C&B activities; implement related processes, systems and tools to make sure such programs are effectively delivered to the organization and according to Country/Regional/Global strategy.
3. Conduct and coordinate C&B analysis; participate and monitor salary and benefits surveys; recommend adequate adjustments. Support Sr. Management in developing C&B strategies for Country/region.
4. Liaise with relevant Corporate functions about C&B policies, reports, benchmarks, HR tools.
5. Provide expertise and support to HR and management in areas of tax, labour law, C&B and mobility; and provide necessary training and education for HRBPs and management.
6. Generate and manage HR C&B reports; and develop, monitor and report on HR C&B/Performance related KPIs.
7. Responsible person to interact with external and internal auditors re payroll, benefits, contract, amendments, internal procedures, etc.
8. Responsible of Country/Regional implementation of Global programs in relevant areas e.g. HRIS, e-Performance Management, e-C&B and systems in general.
9. Provide clear standards and methodologies related to pay package calculations, such as appropriate pay scale determination, benefits and allowances provided and make sure those pay elements are regularly reviewed and reconfirmed.
10. HR/C&B generalist ad hoc support to the Country where the position is based e.g.:
a) manage and accountable for processing and monitoring all payroll activities
b) draft and organize HR legal documents within area of expertise and legal consultancy for HR and business
c) pension and insurance agreements
Requirements
· University degree
· >5 years of experience in C&B in a multinational environment
· Life Science industry desired; international experience from a similar role is a must
· Strong knowledge of labour law, tax social security and employment practices
· Extensive experience in C&B practices and processes, and knowledge of C&B systems
· Experience in benchmarking and job evaluation
· Knowledge of relevant e-HR systems applications (Workday preferred).
· Communication, influencing and language skills
· Project and vendor management skills
· Process planning, organizing and controlling skills
· Fluent in English, other language is a plus
