Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed, and update the CMMS database.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, plant piping, and structural support systems.
• Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Determine necessary materials, tools, and methods for safe maintenance tasks.
• Conduct machinery condition monitoring and field data collection with the production team.
• Ensure operational efficiency of all plant valves and mechanical components, including control and plant valve maintenance.
• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team on mechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform valve line-up and LOTO for maintenance preparations.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with assigned roles.

Requirements

• Nitec in Engineering related field.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in troubleshooting of mechanical/ machinery systems

About the Role - You will:

· Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion of the sputtering tool.

· Execute equipment trouble shooting and follow up on chronic machine issues.

· Lead team of technicians to maintain and improve OEE.

· Work with cross functional teams for continuous improvement and stability of the tool.

About You:

· Positive working attitude and adaptable.

· Team player with good problem-solving skill.

· Willing to work in a clean room environment.

· Willing to work on 12 hours shift pattern.

· Familiar with Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Leadership skill and able to work under minimum supervision.

Your Experience Includes:

· Relevant experience in equipment predictive and prevent maintenance.

· Working experience in PLC controls, vacuum technology, equipment maintenance is added advantage

· Effective hands on trouble shooting on equipment maintenance issues

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain cement plant machinery, including crushers, kilns, mills, and packing units, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent plant operations.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, plant operating procedures, and environmental regulations. Report any incidents or hazards immediately.
• Work with process engineers and plant supervisors to optimize production processes and improve yield and energy efficiency.
• Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for any maintenance or repair jobs.
• Record, analyze, and report operational data, including machinery performance, production rates, and quality control results, to assist with performance reviews and decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to resolve technical issues and support plant improvements.
