This is a full time role for a Technician (Building Maintenance) located in River Valley Road. Our clients are pioneer companies that played an integral role in the country’s physical and economic transformation.

You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems. You'll conduct routine inspections of fixtures, fittings, cooling towers, and chillers, and supervise contractors during repairs and testing. Addressing fault reports, complaints, breakdowns, and customer service requests promptly is crucial. Additionally, you'll report any irregularities observed during maintenance, complete maintenance logs and schedules accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with building and fire safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in building or facilities maintenance
• NITEC in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Facility Technology or equivalent
• Good working knowledge in building, mechanical & electrical systems
• Able to work on rotating shift, public holidays and weekends

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities, including electrical systems, air-conditioning, compressed air, and chilled-water systems.
• Coordinate with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repairs to ensure uninterrupted building operations.
• Supervise vendors during renovation projects to ensure a seamless transition to newly updated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in areas such as the AHU and switch rooms to keep equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to execute schedules, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality repairs and renovations.
• Perform hands-on repairs for plumbing, sanitary systems, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting for telephone line issues.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned from time to time.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To plan and execute corrective/preventive maintenance on facility equipment and production equipment to ensure good efficiency and availability.
• Implement TPM program in HPSL such as autonomous maintenance and critical spare part management.
• Engage external equipment vendor for service contract and ad hoc diagnostic or corrective maintenance activities.
• Support safety and EHS related activities and audits.

Description of Responsibilities and Duties

• Plan and execute corrective/preventive maintenance on facility equipment and plant equipment to ensure good efficiency and availability. Generate equipment and facilities related records/reports/ documentations on above activities.
• Implement TPM strategy. Responsible for tracking machinery spare parts usage, maintaining adequate quantity, critical parts requirement, spare parts management, continuous improvement, and ISO audits.
• Support EHSS related topics, ensure site is in full compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Security regulation and policy.
• Resolve various equipment performance issues internally before approaching equipment vendor. Review equipment log and technician feedback for quick solutions.
• Liaise and co-ordinate jobs to be performed by contractors for facilities and plant equipment. Ensure work completion and achieve high standard of work.
• Perform site EHSS inspection/audits and ensure that all corrective/ preventive actions are close in timely manner. Responsible for internal/external audits and EHSS activities.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings for equipment troubleshooting with at least 3 years hand-on experience
• Evaluate existing/new contractors’ performance and negotiate with them on quotations and service level.

Requirements:

• Hands on experience in mixer and milling equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge in TMP, Equipment FMEA is an advantage.
• Knowledge in facilities maintenance (Electrical, water, AC) is an advantage.
• EHS competence, familiar with ISO45001 & ISO14000 is a plus.
• Able to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical diagrams and carried out maintenance work accordingly.
• Lead and guide technicians on above work.

Education:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences
• Experience in chemical and mechanical process

· Supervise movers as per job requirements for relocation services.

· Conduct operation/manpower planning based on job requirements.

· On site survey for relocation/storage services.

· Handle incoming calls and attend to email enquiries to manage customer’s expectations. · Establish and maintain good relationship with customers.

· Maintenance of daily operational matters / equipment / vehicles.

· Liaise with customers on job requirements and arrange/coordinate scheduling to customers’ request as well as operation requirements.

· Maintain discipline on matters such as punctuality, standard, and attitude.

· Have good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office/Google sheets) and communication skills.

· Coordinate with warehouse team on storage as well as stuffing and unstuffing of goods

· Review and ensure all invoices are duly submitted for finance’s processing

· In case of emergency, take up role of driver for relocation service.

Requirements:

· Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in moving sector and warehouse management.

· A team player, good communication skill, honest & with the RIGHT working attitude.

· Mature, responsible, independent & meticulous.

· Possess a positive drive & eager to learn spirit and willing to adapt to changes.

· Able to handle pressure and perform with tight deadlines.

· Willing to work overtime when situation arises.

· Possess at least a Class 3 License
