Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise engineers, technicians and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate, monitoring and implementation of all FM activities, A&A works, upgrading and/or refurbishment works to the facilities.
• Assist the engineers to develop project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure projects and maintenance works are appropriately executed and successfully completed on time within schedule and budget.

Job Requirements:

• Degree /Diploma (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in building services (ACMV)

Job Overview

As the representative of Vanderlande and first point of contact with the customer, the Senior Operations & Maintenance Manager leads the day-to-day management of the Operations & Maintenance team (50-60pax) at the site.

This role encompasses various responsibilities, including personnel management (such as directing staff and conducting annual reviews), ensuring safety compliance (including maintaining WHS standards), overseeing operations to meet service and maintenance benchmarks, addressing daily operational and technical issues, maintaining quality standards, and meeting financial targets.

Reporting directly to the Lifecycle Services Director APS APAC, the Senior Operations & Maintenance Manager sets the standard for the team through his/her work ethic and behavior, continuously enhancing and professionalizing the site-based service team.

Although this position works during business hours, the Senior Operations & Maintenance Manager would be expected to be available as a point of contact outside of business hours as reasonably required (ex. incidents and escalations).

Responsibilities

• Manages the responsibility for the site-based team including personnel, safety, operations, quality, and finance.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of the team to (over)achieve the agreed service levels while maintaining within the contractual budget.
• Plans on preventative and corrective maintenance and can step out of the day-to-day activities.
• Initiates and implements improvements to the existing service levels, tooling, methodologies and processes, as well as team culture and behavior.
• Maintains a strong service team through initiative-taking development and regular training.
• Identifies commercial opportunities and works together with the Sales Engineering team to convert them.
• Consults with suppliers and sub-contractors where required.
• Manages major incidents and escalations effectively.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelor/master’s in engineering (Technical, Electrical, Mechanical) or relevant trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years in a Senior Leadership role, Operations/Maintenance Manager experience.
• Singaporean, Permanent resident, or other valid local working permit required.
• Background in automated handling systems, capital goods industry, or system integration business.
• Fluent in English communication (verbal/written). Mandarin skills are an advantage.
• A strong personality as a leader with a combination of good interpersonal & technical skills.
• Entrepreneur, people manager, and good communicator, who can develop long-term business relationships and networks with customers and suppliers.
• Possesses a strong customer focus and service attitude.
• Strong commercial drive and ability to pursue improvement opportunities.

Position: Repair Engineer / Assistant Engineer – Elevator

Salary Range: Up to $4,000 (Commensurate based on experience)

Work Days: 5 day week

Objective: Ensure elevator repair fulfilment activities in all aspects to meet targets of responsible area.

Responsibilities

• Support the Repair sales force in discussions with the customer to explore elevator repair opportunities (from a technical point of view).
• Actively manage, develop, motivate, coach, and coordinate direct activities of the workgroups, in order to deliver the Schindler objectives (client satisfaction, quality, productivity, efficiency, top and bottom line).
• Optimize the team staffing by planning the personnel needs including workloads and training for effective deployment and cost control.
• Lead and provide technical support to internal staff (from service, project, sales, sales engineering department & subcontractor) to optimize the workgroups and tools to ensure timely and quality completion as per contractual obligations and code requirement to meet the objective of sales, invoicing, yield and quality of work.
