Inspector


Purpose of the Job

Inspection of Gas Turbine Engines and Engine Components
Key Job Accountabilities:

1. Carry out visual, dimensional and detailed inspection of gas turbine engines and its components
2. Perform work at cell level to meet production schedule and cost control for engines jobs
3. Handle facilities and equipment setup & tooling design/ modification
4. Participate in process improvements and drive productivity

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to Production Manager, Military Operations
Required Experience and Qualifications:

1. Minimum NITEC in engineering discipline. Mechanical & Aerospace disciplines will be preferred
2. Past MRO or Aviation experience would be an advantage
3. Possess good communication skills
4. Energetic and willing to learn
5. Team player but also independent worker
6. Leadership skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and calibration of the machines according to the checklist
• Responsible in analysing machine problems and repair
• Responsible for updating and maintaining maintenance records and forms regularly

Requirements

• Min Nitec in Electrical Engineering
• Min 2 years of working experience in maintenance and repair of CNC metal cutting machines
• Knowledge in PLC will be advantage
