Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Industrial Machinery/ Equipment
• Position Title: Auto Mechanic/ Car Repair Mechanic
• Working Location: Sin Ming
• Working Hours: 6 Days, Mon to Fri (9 am – 6 pm), Sat (9 am – 4 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic (Up to $2,800) + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles, including identifying problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups, maintenance, and inspections.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).
• Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles.
• Completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Collaborate with the team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift).
• Effective communication skills to explain complex technical information to clients in a clear and straightforward manner.
