Responsibilities
• Plan daily and weekly work schedules, including the preparation of duty rosters for facility technicians.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of facility technicians and provide guidance to address feedback and observations from routine inspections.
• Assist and monitor Facility Technicians to resolve facility and building issues, ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
• Escalate urgent findings and ensure timely attention to facility-related concerns.
• Prepare and manage maintenance schedules, coordinating with contractors for servicing activities.
• Conduct preventive, corrective, and ad-hoc maintenance for facilities and fire safety systems to ensure optimal functionality, including:
- ASD fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, PA systems, ACMV systems, fire alarm devices, interfaces, and relays.
- Fire hatch doors, SEF fans, and exhaust fans and Jet Fans.
- Ammonia and Freon plant compressors, pumps, and associated equipment like glycol systems, defrost systems, and motorized valves.
• Maintain chiller plants, including cooling towers, condenser pumps, and AHUs, with experience in Sabore ammonia chillers and fault troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, sanitary, and plumbing tasks to support technicians.
• Interpret and troubleshoot using single-line diagrams, electrical and refrigeration plans, Siemens PLC, SCADA, and BMS systems.
• Track and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) schedules and ensure proper upkeep of batteries and chargers.
• Inspect and maintain CLS racks, pallet gates, and racking systems.
• Manage cold and frozen room facilities (-22°C), including blower maintenance, floor heater monitoring, rapid door repairs, and O2/CO2 detection systems.
• Operate scissor lifts and conduct maintenance tasks at heights.
• Address facility management issues at cross docks, providing day/night support and urgent response as required.
• Participate in emergency response plans, investigations, and fact-finding efforts.
• Coordinate with Safety/Security Teams and landlords for building/fire alarm verifications and event logging.
• Liaise with maintenance partners and supervise vendors to ensure work is performed to standards.
• Monitor service requests through the Maximo System, addressing and documenting actions taken.
• Address recurring facility issues, provide feedback, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in manufacturing or automated warehousing environment.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding and application of safe work practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications for monitoring and reporting.
• Experience with Asset Management and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Possession of personal transport to attend to cross-dock facility concerns is preferred.
• Possession of valid Scissors Lift, Work at Height, and Forklift Licenses is required.
• Must be comfortable to attend to emergencies (when necessary) during outside work hours (including weekends & PHs).
• Must be comfortable working at 47 Jalan Buroh.
