Duties:

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical codes.
• Supervise and lead electrical technicians and contractors in installation, maintenance, and repair of systems.
• Develop and conduct structured on-the-job training for E&I team members.
• Inspect and ensure quality control of all electrical works.
• Review and approve electrical isolation and excavation permits.
• Lead investigations into electrical maintenance issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement maintenance programs for reliability.
• Conduct morning toolbox meetings focusing on safety and maintenance activities.
• Participate in emergency response procedures with assigned roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Electrical Engineering related field.
• Min 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in E&I maintenance and supervisory

About the role:

• Conduct and perform general equipment testing, maintenance, and repair work
• Execute tasks/activities, standard maintenance, and repair work such as Preventive, Corrective maintenance project executions at the site effectively & efficiently
• Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with all maintenance work procedures / OEM manuals/company standards to ensure site quality, asset integrity and operability
• Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with all Local Statutory and Company Safety processes to achieve good safety records/results
• Report any problems or issues with site facilities
• Process Permit-to-Work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Lock-out, Tag-out (LOTO) or execute the Defeat of Safety Critical Equipment (DOSCE) during associate maintenance activities
• Participate and contribute to maintenance documentation reviews such as Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and What-If Analysis
• Maintain work progress status and report to Supervisors on a daily or ad-hoc basis
• Perform Work Executor in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflow to receive, update and close up assigned Work Orders and checklist
• Supervise contractors in work order execution and mentor, and guide technicians/junior technicians
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring that contractors or third-party vendors execute maintenance tasks/activities at the site effectively and efficiently
• Ensure that contractors carry out tasks/activities that adhered to safety, health, and environmental regulations and company standards
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer with Capex project execution
• Help out in the supervision of Capex project execution
• Perform equipment or system testing/commissioning / Inspections / Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) to properly handover to the Operations team after maintenance/project completion
• Participate in routine safety drills, work orders, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
• Standby as duty technician for emergency activation to perform corrective maintenance after working hours
• Suggest and execute ideas for continuous improvement in maintenance procedures and processes to improve or optimize maintenance costs, work processes, and safety standards
• Assist to lead equipment training to the Operations dept or new trainees
• Maintain inventory and housekeeping
• Practice good housekeeping
• Assist to maintain spare parts inventory levels, support delivery checks by suppliers, and maintain good preservation/housekeeping in the store

About you:

• ITE or Diploma equivalent in maintenance
• 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in a similar industry
• Familiar with and experience in Maintenance and inspection work
• Familiar with and experience in terminal equipment and assets
• Technically sound
• Familiar with terminal equipment and assets
• Familiar with terminal fire-fighting and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of safety, health and environment regulatory and practices
• Compliance with regulatory requirements

Other:

• Work location: Jurong Island (transport provided at Jurong East)
• Work hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)
