Project Engineer (ACMV)

Responsibilities:

1) Assist Project manager in overseeing the construction activities and progress,

planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master

and details work programmed.

2) Provide guidance to supervisor in relation to building works, ensure work progress

according to schedule and site inspection are carried out on time.

3) Organized resources and work out the allocation of tasks to work teams and sub-

contractors.

4) Assist the PM with on and off site meetings pertaining to technical issues.

Requirement

1) Diploma / Degree in relevant Building / Mechanical Engineering

2) Minimum 2 years working experience in construction M & E or ACMV Projects.

3) Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of plant equipment, building utilities, labs, DI station, and WWTP.
• Perform hands-on repair work on various equipment, including centrifugal, lobe, and air diaphragm pumps, tank control systems with agitators, and drum filling machines.
• Manage mechanical and electrical control panel tasks.
• Handle maintenance work orders within the SAP system.
• Preferably experienced in performing preventive maintenance on plant static and rotating equipment, as well as corrective maintenance and modification work.
• Contribute improvement ideas and support SQCDP and 5S initiatives.
• Supervise contractors for repair and project work, ensuring standards are met.

• At least NITEC in Electrical/ Mechatronic/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of related working experience in electrical wiring troubleshooting and mechanical repairs in a chemical plant.
• Able to perform hands-on repair work.
• Able to understand mechanical hydraulic machine concept/ electrical wiring diagram.
• Prior working experience in waste treatment/ DI plant operation and milling machine would be a plus.
• Able to standby for cases of emergency calls or OT for weekends (if required)
