Purpose and Scope

Carry out inspections as per daily maintenance schedule; attend defects, breakdowns, including the repairing of Mechanical Equipment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

· Conduct disassembling and assembling of Mechanical Equipment & Familiar with Boiler statutory inspections

· Hands on experience of valves, pumps, compressors, piping, safety valves, control & shutoff valves etc

· Assist the Maintenance Mechanical Engineers to troubleshoot/ fault diagnosis/ failure analysis to determine cause of failure.

· Assist the Maintenance Mechanical Engineers to develop Risk Assessment and mitigation measures for every Maintenance job in the plant

· Apply for Permit to Work (PTW) as the Competent Person (CP) for every Maintenance work in the plant

· Supervise contractors and liaise with other maintenance crafts and operations technicians to execute maintenance activities

· Withdraw and prepare spares from warehouse for job execution.

· Prepare daily updates on Maintenance activities for the day to all stakeholders (operations)

· Flexibility in supporting other Sembcorp plants whenever required.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

· Min Higher- Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical engineering field

· Preferably minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant maintenance fields in a power plant / petrochemical industry

· Be familiar with Computerized maintenance management system.

· Good team player and able to work well with other members and stakeholders.

This role is responsible for the care management of elderly clients under the maintenance day care
programme, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care as well
as client education. The main responsibilities include:
• Take charge of the whole clinical nursing practice in the centre and ensure compliance with
approved standards of nursing practices, including the creation and maintenance of policies
and SOPs.
• Perform all general nursing duties to provide quality nursing care and support to clients to
ensure their safety and comfort. Duties include medication administration, wound
management, fall risks and hospitalization procedures, medical emergency procedures,
infectious diseases outbreak procedures and other nursing duties as required.
• Conduct assessments of clients during admissions and periodic reviews, including preassessment of referrals from AIC
• Assess and evaluate client’s conditions to plan and implement individual care plan
accordingly. Consult and coordinate with OTs and PTs and other healthcare professionals as

• Monitor, assess and review the progress of clients.
• Identify early signs and/or deterioration of clients’ condition through observation and
appropriate assessment tools.
• Ensure clients’ records are created, maintained and updated accurately on a timely basis

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the facility, including building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and operational environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, plumbing fixtures, and other building systems.
• Ensure that all facility systems are functioning optimally and safely.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and facility issues.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

• Diagnose and resolve issues with machinery, equipment, and building systems.
• Perform hands-on repairs or coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques to assemble and repair metal components according to specifications and blueprints
• Inspect welds for defects, measure and align materials, and ensure welds meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Maintain and clean welding equipment and tools, and ensure they are in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building safety, maintenance, and environmental standards.
• Implement and follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials.

Equipment and Systems Management:

• Demonstrated knowledge of various types of equipment, including their functions and applications.
• Expertise in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems, ensuring that operational manuals are updated accordingly.
• Effective monitoring and maintenance of equipment inventory, encompassing tools, supplies, and spare parts, to ensure availability and operational efficiency.

Emergency Response:

• Respond to facility emergencies, such as power outages, water leaks, or HVAC failures, and take appropriate action to resolve issues promptly.
• Be available for on-call or after-hours emergency maintenance as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Prepare and submit reports on facility conditions, maintenance needs, and other relevant issues.
