Responsibilities:
- Implement flow down of Approved Technical Data in compliance of P&W Repair Process Standard Work (RPSW).
- Integrate different elements of RPSW and lead discussion with Pratt on changes/ improvement to RPSW for processes owned
- Drive and implement the cost reduction projects initiatives, assist in developing products and new repair methods.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technically coach/ mentor/ lead group of engineer(s) in processes owned
- Develop, review, improve and implement Work Instructions (Standard Work).
- Aid operation cells on timely technical resolution.
- Lead productivity and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) projects to reduce cost, improve quality and cycle time.
- Lead method optimizations, equipment refreshment and technology improvement projects
- Support quality escape incident and customer warranty investigation (perform RRCA, DAISE).
- Support operation cells in mitigating EHS risks and identify improvement projects.
- Implement Process Control and Certification (ProCert) of products and maintaining currency.
- Support cost reduction, process efficiency and material usage reduction initiatives.
- Perform responsibilities in compliance with EH&S Policy, RTX Code of Conduct and Global Trade Compliance at all times.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Material Science Engineering is preferred) or equivalent.
- Knowledge various repair processes like plasma spray, diffusion coating and brazing is preferred.
- Knowledge in aero component repair processes will be an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
- Team player with good communication and social skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
