Summary of Job Scope:

1) Responsible to preform Preventive Maintenance works as per schedule for Production machines and Equipment.

2) Carry out Maintenance activity for supporting facilities as per planning (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc).

3) Record and document of all related maintenance activities reports such as SOP, PM, Calibration report and etc.

4) Assist Production Department in machine operation setting where applicable.

5) Carry out routine monitoring, inspection, maintenance and repair works as assigned by superior.

6) Attend and initiate troubleshooting and repair of any machinery breakdown, report immediately to the superior if face any difficulties in completing jobs.

7) To carry out installation of new machine equipment.

8) Monitor and supervise all work performed by outside contractors is done properly and high standard.

9) Ensure the stock for spare part is sufficient.

10) Carry out maintenance task as assigned by the superior and management from time to time.

• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods to create plant equipment preventive maintenance procedures.
• Support in the planning of routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults, and lead time critical equipment repairs. Implement preventive measures to improve machine reliability.
• Work with reliability engineers to improve equipment performance and extend equipment useful life cycle.
• Oversee and control maintenance costs. Manage budget for equipment upgrades and replacements.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in equipment operating concepts and maintenance techniques.
• Function as project development member to install or upgrade equipment. Schedule and obtain project material and manpower.
• Support Plant EHS and quality initiatives and targets.
• Responsible for developing budgets and long-range plans based on company growth and future maintenance needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment, wet process and dryer, dry blending and packaging, Clean In Place systems, warehouse in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures to ensure good uptime and good MTBF.
• Responsible for support the equipment qualification and validation, such as walkdown, punch list commissioning, IQ/ OQ/ PQ for any new project.
• Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
• Responsible for writing Job Aids and Maintenance SOP writing, CCA and ER investigation.
• Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance or project works.
• Responsible for Maintenance budge for area of responsibilities
• Lead and Take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects.
• May act as delegate to the Engineering Manager when required.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace/aeronautical or related discipline
• Related experience with Packaging operations or have experience with conveyors, can seamers, casepackers, overcappers, dry blending operations, flexi packaging, etc.
• Min 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing plant
• Prior experience with packaging processes ideal
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player and able to multi-tasks
• Able to react effectively to dynamic Manufacturing environment and able to work independently

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide support, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of PCs, Laptops and mobile phones.
• Including SMD repairs such as re-balling, soldering, reflowing of I/Cs, transistors, capacitors and other components/chipsets on a Motherboard.
• Resolve software issues using established SOPs.
• Research new methods, both hardware and software to resolve common problems or troubleshooting common problems.
• Ensure daily cleanliness of the technical department.
• Ensure proper use of tools issued.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines, tools and gadgets.
• Adapt to changing technologies and learn functionally of new laptop and phone application.
• Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by report manager and/or management.

Requirements

• Customer oriented with good communication skills
• Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate with English-speaking customers
• Preferably with a customer service experience to service customers with products/services.
• Preferable have experience on troubleshooting, repair and dismantle of computers and notebooks. Replace harddisk, LED screen and motherboard.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and liaise with plant commissioning team on inspection, testing and repair of equipment under the maintenance team as necessary,
• Responsible for managing the maintenance activities by directing and supervising a team of personnel including contractors, supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.
• Ensuring the implementation of quality and safety procedures & policies, production reliability & efficiency.
• Ensuring best engineering practices by optimum use of manpower, interface & coordination with other departments regarding plant matters.
• Assist on mechanical maintenance work planning and scheduling with the engineer.
• Responsible to make individual job assignments and tracking the progress.
• Ensures quality of work within the set time frame.
• Register, control and maintenance of assets management in CMMS.
• Ensure to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
• Ability to work as mechanical fitter on levelling, alignment, grinding, cutting, welding and lifting jobs as necessary if require.
• Ability to work as millwright on service, repair and overhaul of common equipment such as pumps, blower, etc. as necessary if require.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors in supervision of statutory equipment inspection and testing at site.

• Arrange site check, dimension measurement, etc. to assist the engineer on improvement, modification and investment plan works including estimate manpower, tools and equipment.
• Assist manpower to storekeeper on preservation of stock items and inventory check as necessary.
• Conduct routine 5S at maintenance workshop, store and work area at site.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent is an advantage.
• High School Diploma or minimum 5 years of Maintenance Supervisory experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skill.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience in using Auto Cad and CMMS (Computerize Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
• Experience in refractory repair work is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.
