• Accurately and efficiently set-up equipment per engineering instructions / Customer’s spec.
• Execute daily autonomous maintenance and set-up activities.

• Assist in performing required process capability studies, equipment installation qualifications, and process validation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the formulation of new flavours and fragrances by mixing raw materials and chemicals under supervision
• Conducting experiments to test the sensory properties of various flavour and fragrance compounds
• Preparing and maintaining lab samples, including diluting substances, and ensuring proper storage
• Recording and analyzing data from experiments, and generating reports for review by senior chemists
• Assisting with quality control testing to ensure the consistency and safety of the products
• Following health and safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of chemicals and materials
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is calibrated and ready for use
• Keeping the laboratory environment clean and organized
• Collaborating with other team members in research and development projects
• Assisting in the preparation of ingredient samples for sensory evaluation by trained panels.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Applied Chemistry/Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences/Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a chemistry laboratory environment
• Lab experiences are a plus!
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
