Key Responsibilities

4. Enforces established plant safety and environmental policy and procedures as related to assigned projects and related tasks.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, E&IA, Civil or related field

2. Proven track record in an engineering design position, preferably in the field of storage tanks or in a related industry

3. Must be familiar with all applicable standards and codes relating to bulk liquid storage facilities for the applicable terminal location. This could include IEC, API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and CFR and any other (local) codes.

4. Project management experience is preferred field

5. Minimum 5 years progressive engineering experience in terminal or related industry

6. Minimum 10 years progressive experience in terminal or related industry may be accepted in lieu of a degree

About the Role

• To Manage and Lead the Team to carry out planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs as instructed by Manager.
• To provide support for events that are held in these facilities.
• To plan and effectively carry out Scheduled Facilities Planned Maintenance with 100% completion.
• To carry out site verification and provide related scope of work for inhouse / external vendors for recommendation and quotation.
• To work with Project Main contractor to address builder’s defects pertaining to the building and MEP system.
• To follow up all related administrative operation for PR/ PO for vendors to carry out the necessary rectification work.
• To ensure and follow up all necessary statutory certification / license renewal for all related MEP system.
• To ensure all MEP Plant Room system are in functional operation at all times.
• To coordinate and liaise with Venue Ops for all MEP system PM work timeline accordance to schedule.
• To collate and evaluate all reactive cases assigned by Manager and carry out necessary rectification or temporary repair/fix (when necessary) within a stipulated time.
• To assist the Manager to follow up on outstanding issue and case.
• To be activated at all-time 24/7 for any related urgent issue arise.
• To respond instantly and brief the team; in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Ability to work independently without supervision from Manager.
• To actively lead the team in the absence of the Manager.
• To verify and conduct trending of all related MEP system in view for energy and water efficiency.
• To ensure operation of MEP equipment and events assign are 100% operational readiness.
• To assist the Manager for coordination in all events or issues assigned
• To coordinate and liaise with Manager in monitoring and controlling expenditures within the budget allocated.
• To acquire the knowledge of Microsoft Office to prepare and submit weekly and monthly document work and report.
• To ensure the team adhere to all workplace safety requirement.
• To lead and provide training to the team for all the MEP system on site.

• Nitec with Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Candidates with relevant prior work experience will be preferred.

Job Summary:

The ROV Pilot is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and associated systems to support subsea operations such as inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in offshore environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder reports directly to the Senior Facilities Manager. The duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: -

• Conducts daily inspection of the entire school compound for cleanliness, safety and maintenance;
• Plans and carries out regular preventive maintenance of facilities including aircon servicing, maintenance of kitchen equipment, kitchen exhaust, fridge maintenance, painting and cleaning of all facilities in the school;
• Handles maintenance requests and update maintenance request records and monitor response time;
• Handles maintenance cash float and ordering of hardware and materials;
• Handles feedback from Principal and Teachers, and provide prompt responses within the same day;
• Adheres to effective execution of safety and standard operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines;
• Conducts WSH training of school cleaning and support staff and maintains records of training conducted;
• Works together with school's management team to plan, execute school events, and activities such as open house, concert, graduation ceremonies and other ad-hoc projects to support the room set-up of furniture and tear down of decorations;
• Supervise contractors and team of security and in-house cleaners, ensuring their full attendance and to keep proper records of their attendance;
• Provides coverage of duties should there be any absence of school cleaning staff at the school;
• Monitors performance of contract cleaning staff to ensure that they are cleaning the assigned zones and meets the high cleaning standards set and that cleaning equipment and chemicals are stored safely;
• Manages external vendors and contractors on-site maintenance works and their contracts in terms of work completion and thorough cleanliness;
• Ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
• Liaise with various government authorities such as BCA, NEA, URA;
• Undertakes periodically with projects and works assigned from time to time
• Handles procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to school's facilities;
• Identifies training needs of employees, source suitable training courses and submit training requisition to the Human Resource Department;
• Maintains training records of all staff who attended / completed training;
• Prepares annual training plan for maintenance and support staff;
• Be in-charge of all matters relating to the school's logistics and facilities management;
• Assist in internal events planning;
• Responsible for management of logistics, equipment and inventory related to programme delivery;

• Must be hands-on and possesses strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
