Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer to execute site engineering projects. This role involves managing both process and non-process-related projects, such as Technology Transfer/New Product Introductions and Capital Projects (typically <$5M). The successful candidate will ensure these projects meet safety, quality, and technical requirements while maintaining alignment with corporate and site standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, facilities, engineering, process development, and quality assurance) to successfully implement engineering projects.
• Oversee all phases of project execution, including initiation, change control, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification, and close-out activities.
• Ensure projects comply with corporate and site engineering standards, including Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives such as pre-job safety briefings, permit management, contractor risk assessments (e.g., JHAs), and HAZOP reviews.
• Act as the technical lead for site capital projects, providing oversight of design, vendor, and contractor submissions.
• Partner with document controllers to ensure timely updates and compliance with document management SOPs.
• Support document archiving in the Amgen document management system.
• Utilize critical thinking to troubleshoot and solve complex issues efficiently.
• Leverage tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Excel for project tracking and management.
• Represent project milestones and updates in daily cross-functional meetings.
• Manage all aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and post-project follow-up.
• Identify and address high-priority risks proactively during project execution.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders such as engineering firms, construction management teams, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Execute multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrate learning agility and technical leadership by breaking down complex challenges into actionable plans.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management.
• Engineering background with expertise in cGMP manufacturing and utilities projects for Biotech/API plants.
• In-depth knowledge of biotech/API manufacturing processes and supporting functions.
• Certifications in Project Management and Safety (e.g., WAH Manager).
• Proficiency in commissioning and qualification of GMP equipment and automation systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., cGMP, OSHA, EPA).
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to build consensus among stakeholders.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive - Fleet Maintenance (Heavy Vehicles) for a third-party logistics company in Singapore. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of heavy vehicles, ensuring fleet readiness, coordinating repairs and servicing schedules, managing logistics operations, and optimizing fleet performance.

· Assist the Person-in-charge of an in-house trailer repair/ maintenance workshop

· Guide staff on the allocation of work and deployment of staff

· Verify repair quotations from vendors on prime movers and company’s vehicles

· Conduct inspections on vendors sites to ensure repairs works are completed timely and meet our satisfaction expectations

· Ensure staff is equipped with relevant skills, knowledge and certifications to perform necessary work.

· Ensure timely completion of work as per target set by management.

· Work closely with Transport department to ensure trailers and prime movers are in time for LTA inspection

· Work closely with Procurement department to control inventory availability and cost.

· Prepare statistics and reports to review performance and make recommendations on operational and procedural enhancement / improvement

· Attend to drivers’ feedback / call and recommend next course of action

· Ensure supply of safety kits/ PPE to staff and ensure adherence to safety regulations and safe work practices

· Ensure availability of tools, material, spare parts and proper upkeep of inventory and assets

· Ensure cleanliness of work premises and ensure good housekeeping for a cleaner workplace.

· Ensure quality through supervision of work and stage inspections

· Verification of timely and proper opening and closing of job cards

· Adhere to statutory/ company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations

· Assist HOD and Management in any work assigned

· Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirements:

· Diploma holder in mechanical engineering or related field

· Possess Class 3 driving licence

· At least 5 years of technical experience in automotive industry, preferably in heavy/ commercial vehicles

· Strong technical competence and experience in prime mover and trailer

· Good interpersonal skills and goal oriented

· Able to handle stress and work within a tight schedule

The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot, the company's rapidly expanding Automated Guided Vehicles, Autonomous Mobile Robot & Material Handling System. They will work alongside with Sales & Development team and our principal factories to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.

Roles & Responsibility

· To provide application and system support to customers and partners on all robotics and system which the company distributes and represent.

· To assist Sales & Development team in Sales Pitch, Project Planning & Proposal, technical specification and demo/ simulation.

· To support robotics programming, installation and commissioning.

· After sales service and troubleshoot any technical issue arise.

· To liaise with product principals and our R&D team base in HQ Indonesia.

· Other ad-hoc support duties.

Job Requirement

· ITE or Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, IT, electronics, AI and any engineering fields.

· 1 ~ 2 years of relevant work experience in system integration, robotics or Automation.

· Knowledge in Autocad is advantaged. To make and amend engineering drawing when require.

· Good working knowledge in IT, Network system and skill in software interfaces will be an added advantage.

· Able to understand robotics, robotics developments, autonomous navigation and system integration.

· Good communication skills, resourceful and can work independently.
