· Compliance with requirements of the Safety Management System
· Operate and monitor process plant, relevant marine and utility systems in accordance with operating procedures and as directed by the Central Control Room and Facility Supervisors
· Identify and report operational deviations to facility management.
· Identify and report process, utility or marine system problems requiring maintenance intervention.
· Carry out housekeeping, routine cleaning including pressure washing and de-greasing of equipment and deck areas, waste collection and disposal.
· Carry out first line maintenance on process and utility systems in accordance with operating procedures.
· Support the preparation of equipment and systems for safe handover to maintenance and safe reinstatement and testing thereafter.
· Take samples from the process and utility systems under the direction of the Laboratory Technician.
· Assist the Laboratory Technician in sample analysis; undergo training in laboratory duties as required.
· Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance activities.
· Inform Senior Technicians / Supervisors / OIM of any issues relating to safety or facility operability.
· Identify and report equipment faults and breakdowns and use IFS to generate corrective work orders if required.
· Responsible to provide clear and concise daily work logs that have occurred during the shift and give a comprehensive handover to back-to-backs of all events and information relevant to time on duty. This will include an update on all changes in plant conditions, changes and additions to standing and daily instructions and, as required, the status of work permits within assigned area. Handovers are regarded as critical to the safe operation of the FPSO systems and equipment
· Assist in any other work as directed by facility management.
· Participate in the Emergency preparedness drills, safety meetings, and on the job training as required.
· Perform Emergency Duties as required by the Emergency Response Plan
