Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation and process control of the incinerator and boiler turbine plants.
• Develop strategies and implement plans to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Manage the daily requirements of consumables, tools, and equipment for the plant.
• Oversee budget planning and cost management for maintenance operations.
• Establish and enforce operational procedures according to ISO & OHSAS standards, including training and communication to staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and prepare plant equipment for audits and inspections to meet all regulatory and safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations concerning air pollutants.
• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, managing manpower for both routine and shutdown maintenance effectively.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage power distribution and communicate any potential interruptions.
• Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of technicians and operators, ensuring high performance and compliance with safety standards.

Job Scopes:

• Use routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and written or verbal instructions to build, repair, and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repair. Identify and correct errors.
• Observe all safety standards. Maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
• Attend required health and safety training and adhere to safety and security policies, procedures, and practices.
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to the supervisor or Safety department.
• Follow operating instructions, use protective equipment when required, and use equipment and materials properly.
• Actively strive to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies, and components. Enter data on a computer terminal, such as progress, work expense, and labor details.

• Inspect parts for defects.

• Analysis of fuel oil, lubricants, petroleum products, and general chemistry
• Analysis of other non-routine analysis
• Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipments
• Ensure proper laboratory housekeeping

Qualifications

• Singaporeans preferred
• Candidate MUST possess at least a Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, or Chemical & Petroleum or equivalent
• Experience in chemical or petroleum laboratory will be an added advantage
• Oil Condition Monitoring experience is preferred
• Responsible and able to work under pressure
• Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
• Working hours: Mondays to Fridays and alternate Saturdays
• Must be able to work alternate shifts on weekly basis
