JOB DESCRIPTION

To perform conventional machining activities such as milling, grinding, turning/lathe in accordance to the specific requirements from the respective projects;

To provide machining works for parts modifications as instructions & drawings;

To provide timely technical support to specific assigned projects on the assembly floor and the other worksites ranging from assembly, installation, troubleshooting, debugging, testing and commissioning;

To support the Supervisor and/or Project Leader at all aspects of the project.

Job Description:-

• Provide equipment support to production including preventive maintenance, repair, replacement, communications with suppliers

General Overview

The position is part of the Instrument Control and Electrical (ICE) team who is responsible for developing plans and schedules and providing advice to production and engineering team on all maintenance activities at the terminal.

Roles and ResponsibilIties

The incumbent shall be responsible for tasks and duties such as but not limited to the following:

• Daily planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks to carry out all required preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of ICE asset in the Terminal
• Work closely with Mechanical, HSSE team to liaise with the Production and Jetty Operations team in the planning and analysis of each work request including coordinating the acquisition of electronic work permits.
• Carry out daily morning toolbox meeting for job assignments, briefings and any ICE-MECH work coordination communications
• Proficient in SAP to be able to carry out monitoring and scheduling of ICE PM & CM workorders, maintaining of ICE master equipment list, PM plans and raising purchase requisition for spare parts etc
• Liaise with External Authority for approval for Natural Gas Equipment maintenance request
• Close communication and co-ordination with external vendors and contractors to attend in house safety induction course, carry out site survey, site execution work etc
• Review Method of Statement and risk assessments are valid for the job
• Responsible for following up and verification that all jobs for close out are properly completed in SAP
• Raise Purchase requisitions in SAP and provide scope of supply and spare part specifications and work closely with Procurement Department for evaluation of vendor quotations for maintenance service contract/technical work outsourcing, monitoring of delivery of spare parts and materials etc
• Assist in the development of Maintenance budget, provide budget forecast, monitor and manage approved budget.
• Apply Jurong Island Pass sponsorship for external vendor.

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 (Degree) years and 8 (Diploma) years of experience in an oil and gas/petrochemical E&I maintenance supervisory or E&I maintenance planning and scheduling role
• Proficient in usage of Microsoft Office computer software and SAP systems
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to work in dynamic environment.

Education

• Engineering Degree/Diploma preferably in Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering discipline.

General Mission

The mission of the After-Sales Service Watchmaker consists in lending all their know-how to the repair and maintenance of Hermès timepieces, in accordance with the Hermès Horloger Customer Service Policy.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

The watchmaker is responsible for the following technical activities:

Workshop

1. Diagnostics of watches under repair or overhaul

2. Repair or overhaul of quartz & mechanical movements (automatic, manufacture & small complications) and clock movements, in accordance with watchmaking standards and the lead times set by Hermès Horloger

3. Battery change, quick service, bracelet/strap change and quick interventions

4. Polishing and buffing watch & clock exteriors (external parts)

5. Final checks (functional and aesthetic) on watches and clocks under repair or overhaul, in accordance with Hermès quality standards

Stores

The watchmaker will be responsible for stock watch maintenance, as per the requirements defined in the Hermès Horloger Customer Service Charter.

Administrative tasks

The watchmaker will also be responsible for the following administrative activities:

1. Drawing up quotes

2. Recording and tracking repairs via Hermès Care

3. Contributing to good components stock management

Support

The watchmaker advises the sales personnel in the Stores and the Hermès Horloger sales team on all technical issues or issues relating to Customer watch repairs and maintenance.

Profile

• Advanced Watchmaking-Repair training or Wostep training
• At least 3 years' successful experience working as an After-Sales Watchmaker
• Solid experience in repair and maintenance of basic mechanical movements such as:

1. ETA 2892
2. ETA 2000
3. Sellita SW300

• Experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical movements with small complications would be an asset:

1. Chronograph (ETA 7750 or 2894)
2. Moon phase
3. Extra-thin movement
4. Large Hour

6. Skeleton

• Able to handle a minimum number of operations per week:

1. 120 quick services (battery changes) on quartz watches or
2. 20 overhauls on quartz watches or
3. 15 overhauls on simple automatic mechanical watches (example: ETA 2892) o
4. 10 overhauls on automatic chronograph mechanical watches (example: ETA 7750 or 2894) or
5. An equivalent mixture of operations
