Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring highest possible production and uptime in the scrap processing or WTE plant.
• Responsible for plant production and reliability / perform root cause investigations to increase reliability and general performance of machinery & equipment.
• Target for incident free and reliable operations, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
• Responsible for implementing Maintenance Excellence by aligning with Best Practices.
• Ensure that preventive maintenance activities are proactively planned, prepared and scheduled with the required level of equipment reliability.
• Liaison with production team and other stakeholders; manage on-going maintenance activities.
• Ensure plant & machinery documentation and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures are constantly updated.
• Ensure technical, environmental and safety aspects in all matters are in compliance with the HSE regulations.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English & dialect (in order to communicate with dialect-speaking production team and other stakeholders to stay updated on the on-going operations & maintenance activities.)
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required knowledge: hydraulic system, rotating parts, PLC systems, conveyor belts.
• Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent.
• Required to work 5.5 days.

Job Scope:

Ensure the execution and completion of electrical and instrumentation tasks in full compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) and Quality policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform tasks as defined per the Maintenance Work Orders

· Perform troubleshooting through logical thinking process.

· Knowledge in Maintenance and Calibration Processes and Standards.

· Some knowledge in utilities system such as DI System, HVAC System, Boiler System, HVAC and Process Chiller System, Cooling Tower System, Compressor/ Compressed Air System, Clean Steam Process, and Cold room.

· Knowledge in Analytical and Laboratory Instrumentation.

· Participate in Root Cause Analyses and follow up on all corrective actions and preventive actions.

· Troubleshoot to resolve electrical and instrument problems, repair, calibration and return to service with minimal downtime.

· Comply with all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements,

· Provide support to manufacturing and utility during routine and shutdown maintenance work; and product switch over in support of plant operations.

Qualifications

· Min Diploma/Higher NITEC in Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent background in instrument calibration and electrical.

· 1-2 years related experience on electrical and calibration, preferably from pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment.

· Team player, attention to details, accurate and thorough.

· Ability to read and comprehend instrumentation wiring, pneumatic and hydraulic schematic diagrams.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

· Experience in Material Handling/ Automation/ Conveyor systems would be an Advantage.

· Able to read & understand Electrical Drawings or has PLC Controlled Systems Knowledge would be an Advantage.

· Proficient in MS Word and Excel

 Evaluating the efficiency of systems and equipment within a facility.

 Lead and participate in equipment and system abnormalities root cause

analysis, attend review meeting, and provide update, then execute corrective

and preventive action for continual improvement, this includes installation and

modification work on existing or new mechanical equipment and system.
