Job Description:

• Reports directly to the section engineer and/or designate
• Carry out all laboratory tests and measurements accurately in accordance to procedure and upkeep/maintain the instruments/facilities in good running conditions
• Prepares standards and reagents for analysis in accordance to procedure and ensure that all related documentation is maintained
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and write the maintenance report after troubleshooting/maintenance

• Accurately update internal Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and monitor the charts

• Strictly adhere to all EHS/QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities and observe line discipline and 5S

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical or science discipline
• Experience with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, etc.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both writing and verbally and good interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards will be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
