This position based in Singapore is responsible infrastructure technical support for Asia Pacific (Singapore, Shanghai, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea) based ECOM employees (~300) and reports to Infrastructure Manager. This position has frequent contact with internal clients, peers, managers, and vendors.
Job Duties:
- Take ownership as single point of contact, provide response through phone or emails and consistently logging all ICT related issues into ticket management system.
- Unresolved issues, shall escalate to the next level of support.
- Follow up progress of outstanding issues to closure.
- Assist in ICT projects and other administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day Level-1 IT support to local and remote users (preferred English, Chinese reading)
- Deploy / troubleshoot PC / Copier / Printer / Phone and network peripherals
- Handle Windows desktop setup, software installation, troubleshooting, performance fine tuning and patching
- Take ownership, follow up, and resolve IT service request tickets
- Liaise with support teams and vendors
- Commission, Decommission Laptop, devices, and server rack equipment
- Manage laptop and IT device inventory, procurement, arrange DHL shipment and disposal process
- Manage user laptop backup
Job Requirements:
- Patient, easy approachable with friendly personality have strong interest in IT industry and service delivery.
- A strong team player.
- 2 to 3 years of IT helpdesk experience
- Possess positive working attitude and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful, able to work independent in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines at minimum supervision
Skills:
Diploma in IT-related field preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Info-communications, Engineering, Science or its equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10, 11, Active Directory, Azure, Google suite (Mail, Drive, Meet)
Experience in networking (LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, SSLVPN) with confident analytical troubleshooting skills.
