The Asst Engineer / Engineer should have broad technical skills and a working background in the System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines, Radio Communications, basic networking skills, computer/servers, embedded systems and/or UPS.

Responsibilities:

• Involve in one or more teams in supporting and maintaining systems, keep them up and running smoothly
• Report to the Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager and in fulfilling SLA and KPI in accordance to maintenance contractual agreement.
• Assist Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager to deliver contract obligation within budget.
• Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To perform routine Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures, involving fault troubleshooting, diagnosis & replacement of equipment/module/component at sites and/or workshop.
• Liaison with procurement and equipment vendors.
• Perform 24/7 off-site standby for fault activation after office hours.
• Arrange and attend monthly meeting with customers.
• Provide engineering services such as engineering reports, supply support, configuration control and management and obsolescence management.
• Provide solutions to technical problem associate with RF communication systems.
• Required to travel to sites for work

Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3-year experience in a similar engineering-related capacity.

• Perform model conversion setup and execute production buyoff procedure for mass production run
• Assist in setting up new machine and carrying out relocation activities if required
• Perform trouble shooting and analysis on product quality issue and work with engineer on corrective/preventive actions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to SMT machines and other automation machines including tooling jig & fixtures.
• Initiate and carry out continuous improvement project to improve the manufacturing productivity and efficiency of equipment
• Provide control and monitoring of production machine spare part inventory and indirect material inventory
• Ad-hoc assignments as tasked

Requirements:

• Min NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
• Good experience in SMT industry or other customized automation machines
• Good trouble-shooting or diagnostic skills on printed circuit board (PCBA)
