Basic Function

Overall responsible for the provision of prompt and efficient maintenance, repair services to internal and external guests and departments concerning technical support and assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the smooth operations and overall performance of the building’s services by running shift duty.
• Responsible for all daily assigned engineering, technical or maintenance and repair requests made by all in-house guests, departments and offices within and around the hotel building and premises.
• Carries out daily checks and logs in Building M&E plant and equipment.
• Implements regular inspections of all services, e.g. the fire alarm, protection systems and chiller system etc.
• Ensures Preventive Maintenance schedules and repair works are carried out accordingly.
• Ensures that the hotel standards in relation to safety and workshop practices are adhered to in the repair and retrofit of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire/safety emergency evacuation, lift rescue etc.
• Provides emergency support to all building services when required.

• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
• Receive complaints and resolve problems
• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
• Prepare and submit performance reports
• Decide on reward and promotion based on performance

Your Responsibilities: -

• Identify and report common technical problems to improve quality
• Improve customer service and repair quality through effective coordination and frontline management
• Manage submissions for new models/recall campaigns and compile monthly results
• Update warranty records for recall campaigns
• Support daily workshop operations, including diagnostics and major repairs
• Conduct on-site repairs and recall campaigns at dealer workshops when needed
• Provide product knowledge and servicing information to customers and dealers
• Mentor fellow technicians in diagnostic and technical skills
• Perform test rides and quality control after completing jobs.

You will need: -

• Possess a valid Class 2B driving license
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with 2 years of hands-on experience in similar industry.
