· Receive and label all samples brought into the lab for accountability.

· Prepare samples from drying, crushing, splitting and pulverising.

· Mix fluxing reagents and load samples in furnace for the fire assay.

· Perform fire assay techniques such as fluxing, fusing and cupellation of samples in correct numerical order.

· Assist with the set-up of laboratory, prepare the SOPs for Fire Assay techniques.

Measurement & Calibration

· Monitor analytical processes and take remedial action where deviations / discrepancies arise impacting on the quality of analytical results.

Perform Laboratory Data Analysis and Reporting

· Testing of precious metals scraps through cupellation method (fire assaying).

· Re-analyse analysis samples when control results are not within the acceptable range.

Quality Control

· Inspect samples, fusions, lead buttons and prills to ensure the assaying method is correct.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

· Minimum Diploma qualification in Chemistry or its related field.

Relevant Experience

· At least 3 years’ experience as a Fire Assayer.

About this role

What will I do?

• Prepare, check, and document detailed architectural drawings at all scales and stages of the project, from concept to construction, and statutory submissions.
• Prepare detailed cross-sections and space proofing diagrams
• Assist team in preparation of project documentation, presentations, and detailed drawings, ensuring quality and presentation meet Arup’s standard requirements.
• Understand Singapore BIM submission requirement and assist team to update the BIM documentation to meet BIM submission requirement - Singapore BIM Guide (v2.0 and beyond), ISO 19650, and SS CP83.
• Understand international BIM standards and LOD requirements for different phases of work
• Contribute to the development of good practices within own discipline through involvement in Arup’s skills network.

What will I bring?

• Higher NITEC in Building Drafting, Diploma or Degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in Architecture within a consulting business environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other similar BIM software. Experience in Microstation will be an advantage..
• Knowledge of Sketch-up, Rhino or other 3D software is an advantage
• Recognises best practices and actively promotes their wider use throughout the team or group.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment, clean, assemble and maintain the cleanliness of the equipment.
• Maintain the documentation of operations in accordance with cGMP requirement.
• Operate the equipment in accordance with SOP / batch document.
• Perform online monitoring and check through the batch
• Complete all relevant documentation required for packing, maintenance and cleaning of equipment in the work area.

Requirements:

Description:

• Ensure that the deliverables are in accordance with the specifications stated in the Contract and completed on schedule, group logistics is managed, and health and safety measures are adhered to prepare a programme of works which shall identify all the tasks necessary.
• Travel island-wide to numerous remote locations daily.
• Carry out the supervision timely according to the programme of works and reporting of the actual progress. Coordinate all matters that require collaboration between stakeholders to ensure smooth progress of the services.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports, checklists, documentation, and prepare the monthly works report.
• Ensure the quality of the site services by carrying out periodic inspection of the services/works and ensuring that the Board’s instructions are carried out.
• Assist and provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting of services done, and to provide updates on outstanding works/services, defects and observations.
• Manage the daily geospatial deployment, optimise the services efficiently, undertake first respondent basic troubleshooting and diagnostics services, verification, ensure upkeeping of the installation, provide competent technical services, timely reporting, monitoring of equipment health and status, and any other services for the proper functioning/assurance of the system as instructed by the Board.
• Develop competencies in the respective work groups

Requirement:

• About three (3) or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in engineering-related fields, utilities, public sector services, or maintenance-related service
• Shall be a Singaporean and security cleared by MHA.
• Shall be able to communicate conversantly in English
