What this job involves:

• In partnership with the Regional Facilities Manager, Senior Facilities Managers, Facilities Managers, Program Managers, and the client drive consistency and operational excellence in the regional Facilities Management program by organizing information, building and managing project plans, managing vendor relationships and communications.
• Own the organization, management and implementation of programmatic needs across all aspects of the regional facilities programs, spanning the hard services and soft services programs spectrums.
• Communicate via multiple channels with Senior Facility Managers, Facilities Managers, Program Managers, the client and other leaders to build and sustain strong partnerships to operate in a matrix driven environment.
• Lead, attend, coordinate, organize content and presentations for team meetings at various frequencies including weekly, monthly, and quarterly.

FM Technician Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of installations, fixtures and fittings, equipment, common facilities and property to ensure they are clean, safe and in good working condition.

Job Qualifications

FM Technician Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of installations, fixtures and fittings, equipment, common facilities and property to ensure they are clean, safe and in good working condition.
2. Undertake minor building, mechanical and electrical repair works, and handyman works (such as changing of light bulbs, reset drawer locks, etc).
3. Monitor and attend to maintenance service requests, investigate and initiate corrective actions for any service and equipment breakdown, or fault detected during routine check, servicing and maintenance.
4. Daily, weekly and monthly inspection of key facilities, systems and critical areas.
5. Coordinate and supervise the rectification of defects, maintenance, replacement and upgrading works carried out by contractors.
6. Supervise contractors/vendors performing maintenance works on building facilities (e.g. Building maintenance, Mechanical & Electrical systems (M&E), horticulture, cleaning, pest control etc).
7. Monitor utilities consumption by taking water and electricity meter readings and report out of normal consumptions.
8. Assist in fire safety management, emergencies and business continuity plan for the Authority’s premise.
9. Liaise with Authority’s employees on projects and maintenance works and ensure compliance with fire, health and safety standards.
10. Coordinate and work with audio and visual equipment and cleaning contractors to set up meeting venues including seating arrangements and equipment.
11. Update information databases and breakdown record for engineering systems.
12. Any other facilities management works or related works that arise from the building operations and need.

Job Qualifications

1. At least three (3) years’ relevant experience in building operation and maintenance of building facilities.
2. The technicians shall hold minimum a NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or Mechanical and Electrical Services or equivalent.
3. Additional experience in electrical system, uninterruptible power supply, generators, FM200, fire alarm, sprinkler, high voltage and low voltage switchboards will be an advantage.
4. Additional qualifications such as Electrical Worker License/Singapore Certified Energy Manager (Associate)/Green Mark Facilities Manager will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Installs,inspects, maintains, and repairs various types and brand of all types of commercial & residential air conditioners
• Performs regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning system
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
• Carries out repair works such as replacement of air con compressor, fan coil motors etc
• Recommends appropriate repair and improvement works to customers
• Perform servicing of air conditioning at customers’ residential and commercial premises that includes chemical washes, chemical overhauls, general maintenance services
• Ensure all works compliance with appliance standards and Health and Safety Act
• Daily reporting and weekly reporting to direct manager
• Any other tasks, when required by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance (including chemical washing),troubleshooting and repairing of air conditioners
• Must be able to handle physical work due to job nature
• Responsible for providing air conditioning (air conditioning system) services, such as inspection,maintenance, installation, air conditioning failure
• Provide monthly maintenance and operation services to customers
• Effective handling of fault / emergency repairs and customer complaints
• Possess Class 3 License would be an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years’ experience is required
• 6 days’ work week (Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm)
• Company is willing to sponsor Work pass if required
• Preferably with a certification BCA License (Air-Con License) - INSTALLATION OF STRUCTURALSUPPORTS FOR AIR-CON UNITS or equivalent
• Knowledge in SCDF Safety Requirements for the handling of R32 gas - CoC in Installation &Commissioning Air-conditioning Systems (R32 Split Unit) will be a bonus
