Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and ensure safe, efficient functioning and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Perform inspections, assess risks, and inform operations of issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for facility systems and equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in 24-hour response activities.
• Handle setup and upgrades of production lines.
• Adhere to HACCP maintenance schedules.
• Organize machinery storage and unused equipment.
• Follow safety, security, and hygiene procedures.
• Complete tasks as directed by the Senior Engineer.

• At least NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of related working experience

• Possess Welding Cert would be an advantage

Job Description

• To monitor and supervise M&E works.
• To ensure all M&E installations and implementations are in accordance to approved drawings and materials.
• To carry out site supervision on M&E works
• Any adhoc duties as and when assigned by management.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplines from recognised institutions.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in M&E works
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• To perform mechanical fitting job, machine assembly and maintenance, which requires knowledge of machine fits and tolerances
• To lead a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, checking and inspection, troubleshooting, repairs and overhauls of machinery and equipment having assigned and allocated resources to meet targets through planned and scheduled annual maintenance activities
• To carry out metal working for hot works
• To execute welding work
• To operate heavy machinery and perform lifting works
• To read mechanical drawing

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least secondary school education/ NITEC
• Past experiences in heavy industry/ metal fabrication shops/ machine maintenance will be preferred
• Candidate should possess basic knowledge of computer and data entry, and basic command of English (ability to read, write and speak)
• Able to work rotation shift and weekends
