Responsibility:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our ornamental fish farms. As the Supervisor of Ornamental Fish Farms, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the health and well-being of the fish stock, and maintaining efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for aquaculture, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and sustainability.
Job Description:
* Monitor the health and condition of ornamental fish stock, including water quality, feeding, and disease prevention measures, and take appropriate actions to ensure their well-being.
* Oversee breeding programs and reproduction processes to maintain and expand the fish population, including selecting breeding pairs, spawning, and rearing of fry.
* Manage water supply, filtration systems, and environmental conditions in fish tanks and ponds to optimize growth and health of the fish stock, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Develop and implement feeding schedules and nutrition plans for different stages of fish development, ensuring that fish receive appropriate diet and nutrients for growth and vitality.
* Maintain accurate records of fish inventory, including species, sizes, quantities, and growth rates, and coordinate stock replenishment and sales activities as needed.
* Oversee the maintenance and repair of fish tanks, ponds, filtration systems, and other infrastructure, and ensure that facilities are kept in good working condition.
* Lead and supervise a team of farm workers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with aquaculture regulations, environmental standards, and animal welfare guidelines, and maintain necessary permits and licenses for operation.
* Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of fish health, appearance, and genetic integrity, and address any issues or concerns related to fish quality.
* Interact with customers, wholesalers, and retailers to understand their requirements and preferences, and provide excellent customer service and support.
* Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
* Need working on Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and overtime.
* Able to work rotate shift and overtime.

Requirement:
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Bilingual speaker, need to liaise with Chinese & English client & workers.
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
• Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
