As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the Maintenance & Service Function to provide safe, quality, efficient and effective maintenance services to support the Singapore Fragrance Site manufacturing and commercial operations at Pioneer Site. He will also be covered the Mechanical and Electrical scope for Utility and Facility.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance and Service team to follow up on work orders and ensure timely execution and completion to WO and time booking,
• Provide team leadership and administrative support to the Maintenance and Service team,
  Work with engineers to drive optimisation of the allocation of resources for the maintenance activities.
• Comply with all site HSE requirements and participate actively in HSE site wide program (e.g. work permit, LOTO, safety inspection), never put oneself and others at safety & health risks, and report any workplace incidents, near misses and hazards as soon as practicable.
• Active participation with stakeholders to address safety concerns.
• Ensure safe and quality service of Utilities and Waste Water operation to support all end users.
• Work with Utility Engineer to establish HT/LV, Utilities and Waste water procedures, maintenance service contracts and maintenance programs to maintain compliance with regulatory codes, corporate and budgetary requirements, and to sustain safe, reliable and efficient operation
• Establish effective service contracts/agreement with vendors with the necessary spare part list and effective inventory level to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with Integrated Facility Management (IFM) to ensure to prompt maintenance and service to ensure essential IFM services e.g. Fire Alarm, Fire Protection, Domestic Water Supply
• Review through maintenance service reports, preventive maintenance checklists, repair log sheet and equipment downtime to improve the Utilities and Facility systems
• Lead/Participate in Root Cause analysis and Safety Incidents, implement corrective & preventive measures and drive records for timely closure to prevent recurrence.
• Lead and work together with E&IC team in the Power Shutdown for the HT/LV switchgear and VSD maintenance.
• Drive/support initiatives to meet department and site goals
• Support site expansion, CAPEX and continuous improvement projects
• Participate and drive continuous improvement according to site Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Initiatives.
• Department EHS lead to drive EHS initiatives and compliance in the department including being Risk Assessment Facilitator
• Maintain and support all site activities according to accreditation standards in the scope of the QMS [ISO 9001 & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)]
• Carries out any other works and tasks as directed by Manager

Academic Background:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.

Professional Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of plant utilities and facilities system including electrical system
• Preferably with experience in FMCG, Pharmaceutical chemicals or petrochemicals industry

Technical Skills:

• Familiar with basic usage of SAP (Maintenance module)
  Strong interpersonal skills and organisation ability and proven performance in problem solving.
• A self-starter who can work on his/her own initiative and team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional teams and at multiple-levels within organisation
• Strong hands-on skill and proficiency in analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily salon operations
• Hire and train beauticians, as needed
• Organise employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
• Order beauty products, like creams and essential oils and replenish stock
• Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
• Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations
• Ensure all beauty treatments meet high quality standards
• Maintain staff records, including salaries and working schedules
• Receive payments from clients and track all transactions
• Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
• Must work on weekend and public holiday

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a beautician supervisor or similar role
• Good knowledge of beauty treatments and products (e.g. for skin care)
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to handle customers’ requests and complaints with grace
• Additional certification in Beauty Therapy or Cosmetology is a plus

• To minimize complaints from Client.
• To understand the requirements contained within the each contract.
• To oversee daily cleaning issue & rectify the problem to prevent reoccurrence.
• To oversee a group of cleaners & ensure smooth cleaning operation.
• To report daily activities to client contact and attend monthly meetings/ conduct inspections on behalf of management for progress meetings
• To manage and coordinate site activities (contractors) for ongoing projects and oversee daily activities of site staff.
• To ensure periodic work carry out as scheduled.
• Record of additional work requested by client.
• Reactive maintenance is completed as per SLA’s and has been duly authorized by the relevant Client Representative. Service reports are filled in by the service representative, signed for accuracy by the onsite client staff and issued as supporting documentation when invoiced.
• Ensure all statutory and government rules and regulations are being adhered to within the scope of work being undertaken
• To understand contractual obligations and meet customer expectations under the agreement.
• On a weekly or as needs basis, report to the Operations Manager and discuss works that require completion. Attend weekly, or as required meetings with Operations Manager to assess current progress.
• Other duties as reasonably requested from time to time.
• Reporting :
  Reports are broken down in accordance with Client guidelines, per site, and per service on a monthly basis or as determined by the Client.

• Assist and support Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Coordinator in handling and monitoring the progress of project.
• Attend to public feedback and site co-ordination work assigned by Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Coordinator.
• Manage workers, liaise and coordinate with clients and sub-contractors.
• Ensure compliance to WSHA, safe work procedures and maintain good house-keeping.
• Carry out site work in accordance construction program.
• Establish day-to-day project schedules and ensure project progress is on track.

Responsible for all issues concern on site or ad-hoc duties as and when directed.

Ensure all facility equipment is in good working condition

Liaise with Pest Control and Grass Cutting Contractors timely

Ensure the documents and reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ready to react and attend to emergencies (power failures or mechanical breakdowns) outside of scheduled hours.
