Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Performs total preventive maintenance (TPM) procedures as planned.
2. Performs inspections required by scheduled TPM or Work Order requests.
3. Performs basic troubleshooting on mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
4. Perform regular maintenance tasks at the facilities in accordance with the SOP.
5. Identify and pro-actively respond to maintenance and operation needs.
6. Support the Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) in performing the maintenance duties.
7. Allocate appropriate resources to execute the work order, follow up work order and ensure that resources are used to optimum effect.
8. Assessing the need of mechanical spare parts to avoid delays in TPM. Tool & instrument inventory/ maintenance.
9. Establish and run small workshop activities.
10. Identify and pro-actively respond to abnormality.
11. Trouble shoot equipment failure and execute TPM work.
12. Attend to equipment breakdowns and propose remedial actions and conduct follow up checks.
13. Work to incorporate efficient methods of maintaining new equipment or plant and involved in the installation and commissioning process.
14. Ensure all maintenance activities carried out are following relevant quality and environment policies, safety & environmental rules, and regulations requirements.
15. Supervise any external vendors providing maintenance services.
16. Support the maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement plant improvement plan.
17. Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.
18. Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
1. Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a Power Plant environment.
- Experience in Electrical field.
- Possess good working knowledge of all operations in the plant.
- Positive and highly motivated individual.
- Possess can-do attitude.
