RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and coordinate resources for daily inbound / outbound warehouse operation so as to ensure efficient and timely operation of the distribution
• Contribute to the development and modification of warehousing policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control and handling
• Ensure shelving storage management
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results

What’s the Role?

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the Plant Electrical staff on the scheduling to send and receive motors from vendor, the assurance team with managing quality issues, and the vendors to manage the costs, quality and reports of repaired motors either on site or off site.

You also be responsible for the followings:

• Assist in activities done in the E&I Workshop with the support of the Rotating Equipment support team and Mechanical Workshop Engineer.
• Co-ordinate inter-disciplinary works carried out in the central workshops as well as in Singapore-based workshops.
• Supervise and appraise work undertaken by Singapore-based workshops. To implement QA/QC for workshop services.
• Keep abreast with the development and to adopt best practices technical solutions for repair of motors.
• Manage efficiently the spare parts for the repair of motors in the workshop and adequately equipped.
• Ensure that all tools and equipment in the Electrical workshop are well maintained and calibrated. Ensure preventive & corrective maintenance activities are carried out as per schedule.
