Key Responsibilities

• Operational Support:Support the Production Manager and Production Superintendent in process analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of plant operations.
  Review DCS conditions/trends, analytical results, area logbooks, and reading sheets to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  
• Shift Management:Oversee all aspects of shift operations, including manpower planning and administration.
  Conduct daily shift meetings, assign duties, and provide guidance to ensure effective and safe operations.
  Make emergency operating decisions and act as the Site Incident Commander for the Emergency Response Team.
  
• Equipment Monitoring:Conduct periodic inspections to ensure smooth operation of all process equipment.
  Raise work requests to address equipment faults and prepare equipment for maintenance or commissioning as needed.
  
• Safety & Compliance:Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and departmental safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture within the shift team.
  
• Training & Development:Conduct on-job and cross-training for technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  
• Materials Management:Coordinate and control the receipt and delivery of chemicals and finished goods.
  Ensure proper handling and treatment of non-conforming products and recycled materials according to established procedures.
  
• Process Optimization:Take corrective actions to address deviations in process parameters, ensuring that finished goods meet specifications.
  Implement cost reduction initiatives for utilities and waste streams.
  
• Maintenance Coordination:Collaborate with the Maintenance Department on transition and shutdown maintenance planning.
  
• Project Support:Participate and lend support in project management tasks as required.
  

Requirements

• Experience:At least 10 years of working experience in the petrochemical industry.
  Proven experience in a supervisory role with the ability to lead and manage people effectively.
  
• Education:Diploma in a relevant discipline.
  
• Skills & Knowledge:Strong knowledge and application of safety rules and processes required in a chemical plant.
  Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  Strong oral and written communication skills.
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the day-to-day operation follows the SOP, Work-Place Safety EHS rules and regulations by giving proper and clear instructions to operators.
• Ensure proper handing/taking over of work duties including housekeeping condition.
• Maintain proper record of the treatment details such as quantity of wastewater treated and observation of process reactions.
• Monitor the quality of treated wastewater/oil and ensure strict compliance with the statutory Discharge Requirements before allowing the discharge of the treated effluents.
• Keep proper documentation of wastewater and treatment material inventory.
• Update the daily operation/treatment records and to complete the weekly plant maintenance program.

• Oversee the daily operations of the AP function.
• Guide the AP team to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely processing of invoices and payments, as well as the resolution of payment discrepancies.

Requirements:
