The Research Partnership and Grant Management Senior Manager/Manager supports both the Office of Business Development and Industry Engagement (OBI) and the Office of Grant Management in administrative, coordination and innovation efforts in the area of research partnerships and grant management at GIS.

The successful candidate will lead research partnership efforts to enable strategic partnerships with public sector parties in advancing GIS's mission and vision. He or she will also lead in efforts to identify and promote valuable intellectual properties and assets arising from GIS's research; and develop viable commercialisation pathways alongside teams from GIS's business development, Innovation and Enterprise, Biomedical Sciences Industry Partnership Office, etc.

As for Grant Management, the successful candidate will coordinate grant applications and develop strategies alongside GIS's researchers to improve chances of successful grant application. He or she will also organise training and coaching for early career researchers in their grant applications.

The expected duties are:

1. Lead and organise legal documentation (i.e. NDA, MTA, RCA etc), including the drafting, review, discussion and negotiations with collaborators in accordance with A*STAR's guidelines.
2. Develop a network of institutional relationships with academic institutions, clinical communities, government agencies, grantors and internal A*STAR stakeholders.
3. Support and administer filing of technical disclosures and provide filing strategies for researchers.
4. Develop processes to support Technical Disclosure Showcase in engaging various A*STAR stakeholders.
5. Manage and track defined commercialisation plans for GIS? IP portfolio.
6. Track and compile periodic institutional KPI reporting for management review.
7. Support and administer publications.
8. Administration for pre and post award stages of competitive grants, including the review and submission of grant proposals, progress reports, etc.
9. Provide guidance to researchers to ensure compliance to various grant T&C.
10. Seek opportunities to enhance grant application processes through organising trainings and coaching for GIS's ECR.
11. Assist with other ad-hoc duties

• Creation of lease agreements and standard lease variation in Lease Management System
• Update and maintain tenants' contacts, tenancy schedules, floor plans and other lease related documents

We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the development and use of data systems in ADVANcing Clinical Evidence in Infectious Diseases Network (ADVANCE-ID)

ADVANCE-ID is jointly funded by the Wellcome Trust and Singapore institutions including the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The vision of the Network is to improve public health by developing the clinical evidence base for the prevention and treatment of drug-resistant infections. Its mission is to build and sustain a strategic clinical research network focussed on most efficiently delivering locally relevant interventions for drug-resistant infections.

The Network aims to improve and strengthen clinical research capabilities in the region by acting as a platform to develop good principles and practices. It will stabilise capacity and capabilities to mitigate inefficiencies in trial start-up phase and loss of skillset following study closure, as in typical trial setup. The Network will continuously develop its capabilities, quality and efficiency by learning from and collaborating with other clinical trial networks.

In the long term, the Network aims to support broader infectious disease studies by expanding geographically beyond its original starting point in South East Asia and collaborating with other networks around the world. It will function as an active network that involves patients in platform trials, allowing for rapid clinical research response in the event of an emerging infectious disease or pandemic threat.
